Tfs ammu 😊
All the colors dailies are doing bad except for Shakti (obviously easy slot)..More than rank, Numbers are to worry about..Wooing a girl by a married man is probably a sensitive issue to trp aunties, even 'Patriotism' isn't strengthing their reasoning..
I don't think that is the only prob..Its lack of balance..Show should have a combo of sukor, haveli scenes, villagers, mission & then Suraj-Naina scenes..focussing entirely on sukor naina could be economy but its not earning them any points..

Strong writing with sensibility should be the only saving grace..

Well...its disappointing to see this ratings, that when I am just loving the show like never before(maybe coz I am getting to see Suraj more than usual😉)...and also because THAT FILTHY CREATURE🤢 is not being shown...😈

But the whole trp game and audience demands are like mathematics to me (something I never understood)😛

And if the problem is "Naina between Sukor"...then this thing is like physics to me(an altogether different mystery for me)🥱...coz history is evident,a third wheel between the leads has always been a sureshot ratings garner, don't know why it never works with Sukor,I have seen shows when the hero is himself intentionally smitten on the other lady, and the ratings are sky rocketing, and here Suraj is acting and people are not liking it.😕

One more thing,is that every show ratings are somewhere being totally surprising every week, bit with Udaan,it's the most competitive time slot

I think the wooing thing is putting people off and the promo lacked intrigue, it spilt out what was going to happen, so unless you're interested in watching Suraj proposing to Naina or watching Chakor breaking down there is nothing to see.
I'm hoping they shift the focus to convincing the colonel and getting the case, I think then TRPs will increase. Maybe viewers are missing haveli scenes but I don't think they're missing the villagers, their scenes are rarely ever crucial to the story

I also think the huge increase in TMKOC ratings this week affected the ratings, Kullfi suffered a bigger fall, but this is a one off so it'll have no long term impact.

Next week will give a better indication if the wooing or the whole track that's the problem.

I must say that the show's ratings have been disappointing since the 1.5 year leap. It recovered a little after Kashmir trip but nothing near where it should be.

Thanks for the update, Amru.
The TRP is dropping, thanks to Suraj-Naina angle
The focus should be on the mission now.
Getting to Naina is pointless.
Chakor easily went inside Colonel's house.
They can just proceed with this.
Many fans quit the show due to the promo.
I hope there will be a new promo focussing on SuKor against the villain.

Sad trp decreased but I blame last promo than episodes.I think viewers accept Ml misunderstood Fl marrying other girl but He can love only FL that's why this track First promo gained viewers last promo lost viewers . Still I have hope in this track

I don't think that wooing girl is such a big problem. If trp auties don't mind watching it when ml do it intentionally then they shouldn't mind it this way either. But there is one important thing related to this...

It's also true that trp started decreasing after 1,5 leap and decrease during this track is still in same range so decrease during this track is not bigger then what it was before.

What I think is that reason for this is lack of unpredictability. The last promo which was really good and it intrigued viewers without revealing whole story was the promo for Suraj regaining memory in memory loss track. After that we had similar situation like now Sukor pretending and working together. That was the first time I felt something is changing in Udaan. Everything was predictable except Chakor's pregnancy (which was shown for two episodes ) and Imli killing RV and him reveling her true face. From time to time makers do give us something unpredictable such as Vivaans comeback, beautiful Kashmir trip etc.. But ever since latest leap and it my opinion it started before but only after leap and that disaster climax of memory loss track everything is so predictable. If its not predictable then everything is revealed to much in advance and in one single episode. Take it for example Udaan's vilians... from time Suraj regained his memory Sukor were playing cat and mouse game with RV, and he as vilian did almost nothing serious to prove truth to Imli. Only serious thing which happened was Kumuds death and even that wasn't used for anything except for showing emotional Sukor in between playing with RV. After leap... Chakor's long speeches about mansik bandhuagiri revealed everything in first episodes. On top of that one of first scenes between Chagan and Gauri showed problem will be between them and what kind of problem it will be, it was easy to guess how Sukor will help them. But let's get back to villians... Imli's comeback in first week itself. Even I who expected her to be back sooner then soon was shocked how short time she was absent. The whole promo about leap, mystery factor behind it revealed in first week. All the time Sukor doing almost nothing, Chakor fearing without reason and giving long speeches. Once they decided to help they didn't dealed with that good.
Then they introduced Karan. Not to forget before that Sukor found gold idol stoled by Imli (ok, if they didn't knew it was stolen by Imli and if it was hidden somewhere else, maybe it would be more interesting - for Sukor to investigate and for viewers to watch). Karan came and what a coincidence he is thief. He comes in Azaadganj - what can be reason? Nothing unpredictable here. If idol scene was shown later as fbs it would been far more interesting. There would be more mystery around Karan and more wondering.
Then Imli came. Ups she was actually there for quite some time fooling everyone while it was so evident it's her (not blaming makers here, it's actress that couldn't pull it right) - nothing unpredictable here coz it's a norm in TV shows that enemy will end up in leads home taking care of child. I remember back then I asked same question as now - Where is unpredictability which was one of Udaan's flavours? I don't really want to mention how for aunties ml not believing fl is predictable and how cat and mouse (AGAIN THIS GAME) between Chakor and Imli was PREDICTABLE. There was absolutely no other way to move story forward.
They surprise us with Kashmir trip and Vivaan's comeback and right when you think Udaan is going back to its old self you get what? One more "confrontation" between positives and negatives with really strong dialogues but with lack of action. Suraj's jealousy... not even one trp auntie should have seen his one scene to conclude he will be jelous after it was (again predictable) evident Vivaan is on Chakors side.
Mystery women.. finnaly something Sukor and Vivaan could have worked on together and to be interesting... but guess what? Mystery women revealed her face and as soon as Sukor were saved she disappeared in tinny air. Unfinished story, just like unfinished Imlis punishment.

Imli and her craziness stole whole light of Ragini's comeback... but neither one vilian get punishment. Neither one story got finished. Everything is left at the half way. It makes people confused and (not liking to say it) disapointed.
Then comes this track. Shocking promo, interesting and intriguing. But viewers who watch already know Sukor are in sort of happy phase, they won't get separated in couple of episodes which are left for date on promo. New viewers decide not to come coz promo shows love triangle and these words itself are PREDICTABLE for every show. Old viewers still continue to watch and couple of new viewers who also come got to know what will exactly happen in next two months of the show in just one episode. They got to know date, they got to know reason, they got to know way... Basically everything. What remains are Sukor's convincings, painful scenes... what is they don't know about this track? Probably the only thing that's still unanswered is how exactly will Colonel make attack on desh. But it's actually not quite interesting coz whatever it is they already know Sukor will try to find it out trough fake love and maybe marriage and at the end of the day Sukor will be succesful. And they know it won't happen anytime soon coz they know date, so why don't switch chanel in meantime and see what's happening somewhere else?

Now it looks like I really blamed and bashed my favourite show. But I didn't. I loved many things ever since leap happened, or better to say ever since Suraj regained memory but there was something seriously missing and it's not in story writing coz writters have been changed and also old writters made two really good tracks before all this. Its also not like they messed up seriously with two main aspects of show which is social messages and love story. Its not fact that Sukor are parents coz in current track Saanvis ss is max reduced and Sukor absolutely don't look like ordinary parents. So what it is? I don't know. The unpredictability is lacking and finishing of tracks and sequences has been damaged seriously. If I didnt knew that makers and team of Udaan are matured and smart people I would think they are seriously trying to change Udaan's flavour and to make Udaan less unique so they can attract new kind of audience. But I think they already know it's not possible after show is on air for 4 years and after it gained loyal audience which seems to be quiting now.
Are they trying to protect show from something? Coz every time they give a surprise they take one more predictable route before people even realise it was surprise?
Or is it just me?

As I said at the start love triangles don't work with Udaan. I think it was always because love triangles become too much clich and predictable and Udaan's audience doesn't favours it. Right now it's not typical love triangle and I really think it wouldn't drove away people coz Sukor are together in this, but there is absolutely nothing that will make people wonder what will happen next. Team works hard, story is good but there is not unpredictability. With intentional triangles there is still some kind of unpredictability. If only makers of Udaan didn't revealed every little detail about this mission right at the start it would have been more interesting for audience even though they knew this is not typical triangle.

I wish they show some twist in this second half of track... such as Colonel finding out about RAW agency watching on him, or maybe even finding out about Sukor... not only cat and mouse game (AGAIN!) between Sukor and Colonel. Then we can have heartbroken Naina finding truth about her father and helping Sukor or becoming negative as her father... whatever. Just something to happen...

But... I wish the most that they don't take any of this routes. And to show something no one could have expect.
And yes... I so want one promo that will keep people (and me too) intrigued till the last episode of track, not a promo which will be revealed and solved in one of the first episodes.

I love this track it's interesting coz am emotionaly attached to Sukor. I love to see more of Suraj's and Chakor's thinking and emotions in this kind of situation. And if I hadn't been emotionaly attached to Sukor like I am then it would be intersting for me coz of Meejay's performances, this track give them something new to do. New emotions, new thinking... it's Meejay's responsibility to show it convincingly and they are doing amazing job. But audience doesn't really care about it. That's why BP and Silsila are also not doing good even though their leads are far more popular then Meejay.

Even I miss unpredictability factor in Udaan. And for audience of every show and especially for Udaan it's essential.

So sorry guys for this long post.

I don't think track predictability is an issue, actually I think viewers like tried and tested formulas than completely out of the box ideas. Take the first promo, people expected separation but when it became clear it wasn't they didn't stick to see what it was. KC promo, Chakor killing KN promo, Ragini's truth revelation were all predictable, the curiosity was how. Apart from Banaras track, it was always clear who is plotting, the curiosity was about the path.
Similarly, after the 5 year leap, everything was clear by the end of the first week. I don't think delaying Imli's entry would've increased interest, it's clear from the whole track that Sukor playing unsuspecting victims was unappealing.
The handling of maansik bandhua was disastrous and they abandoned it too soon. I don't think domestic problems would've worked, they needed a burnt factory or a forced marriage, it was better if they followed the promo where someone threw a stone at Chakor.

I disagree about the wooing part, it usually happens while the leads are separated, so viewers wait to see how the leads will get back together, but here they are already together and more importantly, the other person is usually a vamp or in on the plan if she's a woman.

I think the track is good, better than what they've shown since the 1.5 year leap. I think the show has improved a lot after Pawan returned. This week apart from Monday, the episodes resembled the cat and mouse game between Sukor and KN, so hopefully viewers will find it interesting.

Another thing is I think Udaan's viewers like when Chakor is fighting for her marriage not sacrificing it, bandhua track, ML track, Banaras track can all be described as Chakor helping Suraj or Sukor saving their marriage but so far this track is Chakor sacrificing her marriage. If they manage to focus on the attempts to find the briefcase the track will be Chakor saving her marriage and will be more acceptable.

Agree about having twists inside the track, they could've stretched Naina being angry with Suraj or made it look that Deva will find out about Suraj and naina, but that's the fault of precaps because they focus on feels and not on suspense. I liked yesterday's precap because it included Naina's phone call although I knew what'll happen.

It's easier to create suspense if it's about clearing an MU or uniting separated lovers, but once you have a task with a deadline, you know when you have to tune in, so maybe it was a mistake to reveal the date of the climax.
They should've teased about Suraj's identity being exposed, something like Chagan running into him and Naina.

I didn't meant on unpredictability of whole track. Udaan has followed many tested formulas till today but they have always added something which was unpredictable. Be it path, or reason or final outcome. There was always something viewers were intrigued about and it was almost always something they couldn't have predict it will happen the way it did.

After 5 years leap everything was clear but no one knew how will Chakor win in battle with Imli, no one knew how she will gradually make villagers revolt, no one knew how will Suraj regain his memory. There were many things to look forward. This track... First promo revealed everything, Sukor's sufferings and why they will suffer, and that it will be coz of patriotism... even if promo didn't revealed it just one episode in which Chakor meets agents revealed everything. Like litteraly, even the finish day.

Maybe I didn't explained it the way I wanted. I don't expect them to take out of box ideas in every track. But I surely don't expect them to make circumstances which leave only one predictable route. It's more intriguing to watch when there are at least two possibilities for something and to think which one will it go then to watch something you already know what, how, when will that happen. I call that difference between predictability and unpredictability.
