So it was Imli & Ranvijay's plan to make Sukor divorce each other & they achieve their dreams😡
Loved Sukor's conversation, Suraj still wants to portray Chakor as a bad person in front his parents
I think Suraj's parents will understand Chakor
I think Imli's love towards Suraj is fake
Chakor is right in going ahead with divorce as she is suffering in relationship
Suraj's true nature is hidden behind his security
Waiting for next

Loved reading your input, dear.
Thanks for your support.
Will update soon 😊

I don't think imli loves suraj.
Chakor is right in her place, she waited 3 years.
Let me guess what could be ranvijay's dreams ;
To rule over rajvanshi empire or to get CHAKOR?????

Your guess is as good as mine, Saloni 😊
Thanks for your feedback 😳

So the letter was a plan by RV-Imli
Suraj's eagerness to look good in his parents' eyes is blinding him to how unfair he is to Chakor.

I think Imli knows very well that RV has his own motives, she may not know the details but she knows he isn't doing this out of brotherly love, he isn't manipulating her.

I think RV wants to take over the company or is he after Chakor?

No Imli doesn't love Suraj, she loves his money, status and good looks.

IMO Chakor needs to stay from Suraj for a while, he needs to be free from this marriage to realize that Chakor's worth and to realize that it's up to him to improve his relationship with his parents.

Suraj isn't bad, but his resentment and insecurity towards Chakor are making him behave this way, still he needs to grow up a little.

Can't wait for the next part.

Wow!
Loved your detailed analysis, Mesh.
Thank you very much ❤️

Well!
I think Suraj is not fully blinded by his wish of being separated from her and being good in his parents eyes as he is thinking about her and that too with just her opening up in front of him.
What would happen if she said, I had a crush on you since childhood and you never looked on my side LOL
I think he would have got an heart attack instead of just a nose injury.
And I really loved Chakor's policy!
It's not just a thread which will give permission for a man to touch a woman!
Keep on rocking dear!

Hahaha 😃😆
Your comment about the crush just made me laugh, dear.
Agreed about the heart attack 😆
Thanks for your feedback, Maithu 😛

PART 5

The ride back home was pin drop silent. Suraj leaned back on passenger seat with his eyes closed and left hand rested on his chest. Chakor focused on the road, trying to formulate what she should be telling Kamal Narayan and Tejaswini. She didn't want to take all the blame but since Suraj will not be following her to see Ma and Pa, she thinks that it is appropriate if she talks about herself only.

After driving for twenty minutes, they arrived home.

"Suraj," Chakor called softly, just to make sure she doesn't startle him if he is asleep. He didn't respond. Suraj was asleep due to the medication given to him to relieve pain. She observed his face and a slight smile escaped her lips. All these years being his wife, she never had the chance to look at his face this close. Looking at him now, she realized just how good-looking he is. He had the kind of face that could stop anyone in his path. With a face almost faultlessly symmetrical, he had disheveled black hair which was thick and sleek. He typically combs his hair and keeps it neat but today, thanks to Chakor's punch, his hair was a mess. He had a short beard with thin, neatly trimmed sides looking quite like short boxed beard and Chakor couldn't help but to comprehend that Suraj does take good care of his complexion. His well built physique, balanced weight and good sense of clothing are admirable. He wasn't a male model but he should have been, Chakor thought to herself, smiling. Unfortunately, good looks isn't the only sufficient features of a man.

Not wanting to continue admiring her soon-to-be ex-husband, Chakor slowly placed her hand on his right shoulder, shook him faintly and said, "Suraj, wake up, we're home." His eye lids jerked but he didn't wake up. Chakor repeatedly called him after that, each time a little louder than before but Suraj was sound asleep. Out of desperation, Chakor switched on the radio in the car as loud as she could and Suraj was knocked for six out of his slumber.

"What's wrong with you?!" Suraj yelled. "Can't you just wake me up like a normal person would do, perhaps gently?" he added. "Gently? How gentle do you want me to be? As gentle as a feather?" Chakor mocked.

Knowing that she was teasing him, Suraj opened the door and stepped out of the car, closing the door behind him without looking back at Chakor. He was upset because she woke him up abruptly. Suraj, at times, behaves like an overgrown child. A few steps ahead, he wanted to turn around to thank her for sending him home but before he could say a word, Chakor drove off.

*****************************************************************************************************************

Ding dong! Ding dong! The doorbell rang.

Girija, who has been working at the Rajvanshis' since Chakor's childhood, opened the door at the Rajvanshi mansion. Upon seeing Chakor, she called out Tejaswini to inform her about the arrival of her most favourite person. Tejaswini has been looking after Chakor as her own daughter and she loves her truly. She always put Chakor's needs ahead of anyone else because she doesn't want Chakor to feel that she has no one in this world. At times, the attention and affection that she gives Chakor exceeds that of Suraj, which is also one of the reason why he despises her.

"Come in, Beta," Tejaswini welcomed Chakor with a warm tight hug and a peck on her right cheek. Chakor feels safe whenever Tejaswini hugs her. It reminded her of her mother, Kasturi's hug. Thanks to Tejaswini, she always got the unconditional love of a mother. Every so often, Chakor wondered if it is possible for someone to love a stranger this much. Chakor's real parents weren't rich. Bhuvan Lal, Chakor's father, owned a rice mill which was repossessed by the bank after his death as he had outstanding loan with the bank. Chakor was left with a house opposite the Rajvanshis'. Although the Lals' were Rajvanshis' neighbour, their house was not as big as Rajvanshis' mansion. Their neighborhood had a mixture of people from different financial status and positions but everyone lived together without discriminating one another.

As Tejaswini led Chakor to the couch in the living room, Kamal Narayan approached Chakor and gave her a hug too. "How are you, my love? Papa and Ma missed you and Suraj very much. How is Suraj? Why didn't he come?" Kamal Narayan had stack of questions which Chakor answered with a smile, "I am fine, Papa. How are you both? I missed the two of you too. Sorry that I couldn't visit often. Me and Suraj, both have been busy with work."

"Why isn't he here, Beta? Is he okay? And why are you looking so worn-out? Come sit here," said Tejaswini forcing Chakor to sit on the couch. She walked swiftly to the kitchen to get drinks and snacks for Chakor. Although they have several servants, Tejaswini always prepares the meal for her family. She feels the satisfaction of providing the best food for them.

Kamal Narayan settled opposite Chakor on another couch. "Your Ma was right. You do look worn-out, my love. Take some time off if business is rough. I don't want my daughter to fall sick just for the sake of business," Kamal Narayan looked concerned.

"No, Papa. I am fine. Just a little tired because too many things happened today at the office. I also have a few things to discuss with you and Ma," as she finished the sentences Tejaswini arrived with Chakor's favourite mango juice and suji ka halwa.

"Ma, that was fast! How did you make suji ka halwa in 5 minutes? You must tell me your secret or did you buy this from the dhaba near the house just now?" Chakor giggled as she looked at Tejaswini.

"Hmmm.. you naughty, you know I love cooking for my family na Beta, I will tell my secret one day but have it first now. You must be so hungry," Tejaswini spoke with love. Chakor felt guilty seeing how much they both love her. She knew that what she is going to discuss will break their heart but Chakor also knew that Ma and Pa will understand her situation and wish the best for Suraj and her. Having no appetite to eat due to the trouble that she is in, Chakor still took a sip of the mango juice and relished the halwa just to please her Ma.

"I am making kadu puri and panneer butter masala for dinner. You are staying here for dinner, okay? No arguments about this. I will pack some for Suraj too," Tejaswini insisted.

Chakor nodded with a smile and said, "Ma, Papa, we can talk about dinner later. Now, I have something to discuss with you. I don't know how to start this conversation but I am not going back till I settle this."

"Wait, are you expecting?" Tejaswini interrupted with a wide smile on her face and hopeful eyes.

"Come on, Teju, let her speak. Don't interrupt her," said Kamal Narayan.

Tejaswini Ma ignored what he said and focused on Chakor, expecting to get an answer from her. Chakor wished she could give such good news to Ma. Chakor wished her marriage was happy so that she wouldn't have to break her Ma and Pa's heart. Everything seems too late. There is no turning back now. She braced herself to say the next few sentences while looking at Ma and Pa.

"No Ma, I am not expecting. What I am about to say might be a shock to both of you but please don't hate me for this," she hesitated. Kamal Narayan and Tejaswini looked worried looking at the sudden change in Chakor's intonation.

"Are you okay, Beta? Is everything okay between you and Suraj? We have been asking you about him since you arrived but you didn't say anything. Did you both fight?" Tejaswini asked anxiously.

"Everything is not okay, Ma. Suraj and I, well, we are not together. As a matter of fact, we have never been together since we got married," Chakor's voice trembled.

"Not together? What do you mean, Beta?" as Tejaswini inquired but Kamal Narayan stopped her again.

"Teju, let her speak. Don't interrupt."

Looking at the two pairs of eyes gazing at her in hope, Chakor felt a wave of emotions causing her to choke in her own words. She steadied herself to continue with what she had to say.

"I married Suraj because I wanted to make both of you happy. You have been the best people in my life since my parents left. I could not disappoint you when you seek my permission to get me married to Suraj. I thought I could love him. I thought we both can make it work but these three years have been so close to hell. I felt like I was falling in a deep abyss and no one is there to save me, Ma," Chakor started crying.

Not being able to see her little girl cry, Tejaswini hugged her.

"I wouldn't blame Suraj in this, Ma, Papa. He married me just to gratify the two of you. We both love you very much but we cannot continue this charade anymore. The pain I feel in my heart is unbearable. Suraj and I are not made for each other. Trying to make this work is almost impossible. I feel suffocated in this marriage, Ma. I don't want my whole life to end tragically. Suraj too deserves to find his true love. I cannot be making him stay in this marriage. That is just so wrong," regaining herself, Chakor clarified what she wanted.

"I have decided to file for a divorce petition, Papa and Ma," Chakor looked at Kamal Narayan and Tejaswini as she finally said it and they both looked like their world just collapsed right before their eyes.

Something to ponder:

Was it right for Chakor to admire Suraj's looks secretly and not tell him about it? 😆

What do you think about Chakor's relationship with Suraj's parents?

How would Tejaswini and Kamal Narayan react to Chakor's desire to divorce Suraj?

NOTE: Lesser SuKor moments in this part because Chakor-Tejaswini-KN's conversation is needed in this part 😊
