Well dear!
You are making me feel like an oldy LOL
And for me, I'm never a senior until it's for age as we tend to learn everyday and progress every second! ;-)
And when it comes to work of art which includes writing, a new artist can be better than an old artist and only point of views will differ 😛

So thanks to you for being here and giving stories! Was missing reading Sukor stories a lot!😳

PART 2

"For how long more are we supposed to continue this, Suraj? Don't you think three years is long enough to finally move on?" asked Imli to a baffled-looking Suraj. Suraj was hearing what Imli saying but his eyes were looking at Chakor whose eyes were wandering all around the office. Chakor hasn't been focused on her job lately. Suraj doesn't talk to her but he never fails to notice her presence. It was lunchtime and being the Chief Executive Officer of Rajvanshi Steel Works Company, he sure does has the freedom to do whatever he wants.

Once graduated, Kamal Narayan made Suraj the CEO of his dream company and Chakor too was made a part of this family legacy. Suraj tried to keep Chakor as far as possible from him although they work at the same company. Therefore, he hired her as the Chief Operations Manager of Rajvanshi Steel Works. Although Chakor excelled better than Suraj during MBA, Suraj was still unwilling to keep her by his side because he doesn't want her to steal his spotlight yet again. Kamal Narayan trusted his son and never once he questioned his decisions because Rajvanshi Steel Works has been having mounting progress since Suraj took over. Suraj opened a second branch at Chennai last year and he has been working day and night to make sure his company stays at the top. Although he is the CEO, Suraj prefers getting into every single detail of his business all by himself. Yes, Suraj is a very hardworking lad who is focused only on his business but never about himself or his wife.

After his marriage with Chakor, Suraj found it difficult to accept the fact that his whole life is ruined. He hates Chakor and he knows that he will never be able to love her. Something about her has been troubling him for so long; her intellectually challenging demeanor, her sharing his parents' love, her attention seeking nature, something about her was so mysterious to his sight. She was unique but he thinks that she is not worthy of his heart because he had a dream about his future wife. Sadly, everything was shattered just to fulfill his beloved mother's wish to see Chakor as her son's spouse.

"Hey, Suraj babu, are you even listening?" Imli saw Suraj swaying away in his flashbacks, so she brought him back to reality. "I agreed to this drama because you're my brother's best friend. You wanted Chakor to stay away from you and she did. I am happy to help you but I just don't feel right about this anymore," she added.

"There is nothing right or wrong in love and war, Imli. You know how much I love my parents. My mother is my everything. All I want for her is happiness and happiness only. She wanted me to marry Chakor and I did it but I will not degrade myself by living with Chakor as her husband. I am Suraj Rajvanshi, the heir of a business tycoon and who is she? Just a daughter of a rice mill owner, sorry sorry, a deceased rice mill owner. What status does she have to be my wife? Yet, my parents gave her all the attention, all the love that was supposed to be mine only! I will never forgive her for that!" Suraj conveyed his thoughts.

This deception was planned by Ranvijay Singh, Imli's elder brother who happens to be Suraj's best friend. Ranvijay has been his best friend through thick and thin and upon realizing Suraj's hatred towards Chakor, he decided to help him out of this marriage. Suraj never wanted to be the one to break his parents' heart. So, they planned to drive Chakor to an extreme and force her to initiate the divorce. By doing so, Suraj will get liberated from her as per his wish and his parents will not be disappointed in him, at least that's what he thought.

For the past three years, Suraj has been 'enjoying' himself with Imli in front of Chakor. The attention that he should be giving to Chakor was fully given to Imli. He seldom spoke to her, even if there are any business related matters, he asks Chakor to deal with his personal assistant and 'lover', Imli. Suraj knew that what he is doing is not right but he just can't think right anymore. Just like Chakor, he feels lonely in this marriage. Instead of trying to give a chance to Chakor, he confined himself in his office at their house all the time. He feels suffocated in his own house. The walls and his computer has been his 'wife' for as long as he is aware of. If he gets bored, he will go out with Ranvijay but he will pretend in front Chakor that he is having a night out with Imli. At times, he never comes back home. Chakor will stay all alone, in their house, crying her heart out.

"I just don't feel right about this anymore, Suraj. Chakor seldom smiles since you both got married. She is lost in her own thoughts most of the time. You might hate her for coming into your life uninvited, but she deserves some love too. If you don't like her as your wife, at least try talking to her as a stranger. Maybe you can talk her out of this marriage. She looks disinterested in you too," Imli tried convincing Suraj. Suraj looked at Imli, trying to make sense of her idea. "No, Imli. It is better for both of us if I don't get to know her. No attachments, no emotions," Suraj sound determined. "Whatever! I want to eat. You can eat your ego and sink in your depression," said Imli cynically and left his office.

Not having the appetite to have his lunch after that not-so-good conversation with Imli, Suraj decided to stay back in his office to check some files. After flipping a few files, one white envelope caught his attention. It was slid in-between the files as if someone hid it there purposely for Suraj (only) to find it. Suraj took the envelope and tear off the sealed cover. Inside it, he found an official document signed by the respective correspondent, Mrs Chakor Suraj Rajvanshi.

"Chakor!" Suraj bellowed.

Something to ponder:

Is Imli really as good as she portrays herself to be infront Suraj?

If Suraj really hates Chakor as he claims, why is paying attention to her presence?

What angered Suraj till he decided to call out the woman he never spoke to all these years?
