Bingo mesh. Under no circumstances should suraj be shown attempting it. Kasturi words still annoy me, how easily she said he is no longer chakors husband and she should take him.as dead. It was so cruel of her.
And if Suraj attempts it, Kasturi will be justified in her words. What's the use of a husband if he doesn't protect his wife's honor? Some viewers believe that it'd better to die with your dignity than live after such public humiliation, that's why even threatening to kill Chakor doesn't justify Suraj doing it.
Kasturi's words were harsh, especially that no one has tried to help Suraj or treat him with kindness. She knows how much he loved Chakor and was devoted to her. Still, I'll give Kasturi some excuse, it was an emotional reaction to seeing her daughter getting whipped. She didn't want Chakor to suffer so she wanted her to forget Suraj.
