Yes, they've exaggerated with Imraj's story. Suraj and Imli have gone through nearly every emotion than a couple can go through: they were each other's first love, they had their first night together, they had their first child together, they even lost a child, now Suraj sacrificed everything for Imli... and many more...

That's why now everything that Suraj does for Chakor falls flat... and from here the high dissatisfaction on the forum. I just wish that there was no Imraj so we wouldn't have anything with which to compare the Chakor and Suraj's love story.

Priya, that was incredible!!! I read your initial post on the DEDT thread, "LIKEd" it and went away because I was speechless, wasn't able to give any reply ... and anyways, whatever reply I were to give would've fallen short. You've given the A-Z of Chakor's abuse by Suraj's hands ... thus forcing us to question "why the Hell are we even following such a story?"

Chakor has endured too much in her lifetime and not a single sorry to compensate for it. I'm not ONLY referring to Suraj here, I'm talking about Imli, Bhuvan and Kasturi also. Chakor is the way she is ... because of her parents and her sister. What exactly have they awarded her ... nobody believed her during the bride swap and Imli is ever-ready to back-hand her! Because of her child-hood being such, Chakor never got the full quota of love from her parents and her sister is self-absorbed, so no real sibling attachment there !

Chakor craves love!! We saw how fast she ran and hugged Suraj when Imli told that she had taken advantage of him, and he was innocent. Then we saw how she almost gave in to kissing Suraj in the car, because she's so desperate to have that ounce of love in her life. I feel sorry for Chakor, I really do ... she deserves the best, but she's settling for less because she was deprived. It's really sad when you think about it ... the girl is even willing to take her sister's seconds because of it!

Suraj is a sorry excuse of a man! He had a great relationship with his father ... but ruined it when he selfishly chose HIS freedom from prison, making him a bad son! He hasn't done anything worth mentioning for his mother either! He was a rotten brother (to Ragini and Vivaan ... for different reasons); so what made us think he'll be the ideal husband to Chakor? Threatening her, blackmailing her ... using her and abusing her, and of-course the most heinous, attempting to rape her ... and she goes and falls for him😕! The man is jobless, has no aspirations in life, wouldn't be able to provide a meal for her, nor can he give her shelter ... and she's head-over-heels for him😕. Sometimes, I get so annoyed and say ... "you deserve what you're getting Chakor!"

Don't know if you're familiar with "STOCKHOLME SYNDROME". It's when a victim falls in love or has very deep affection for her abuser. Chakor and Suraj's story is directly lifted from the text-books, and it's scary when you sit to make sense of it.

Chakor has always come off as a strong individual, but if you get into her mind ... she's very weak, child-like almost. She doesn't make demands, she doesn't expect much ... she'll be content with just a pinch of affection, an ounce of care, a whisper of kindness and a fraction of love! Sadly her other half can't afford even that😡!

Chakor can do better, will do better ... but does she want better? Can Chakor leave Suraj behind and look ahead? What comes next in the show will be interesting indeed, and I'm also looking forward to a good story being told now! If Suraj is meant to be with Chakor ... then I hope he pays for every tear he brought to her eyes (make him shed some tears of blood too ... I don't mind😈)!! Suraj must be made worthy of Chakor and it starts with getting Imli on a plane and sending her to the other end of the equator!

Okay ... I know I digressed a bit, forgive me! Have to say once again ... amazing post dear👏!!! Also , congrats on your first post as a topic-maker👏!! Looking forward to many more hard-hitting analyses😳.

When Chakor was away they had 2 hugs

He carried her to the temple...he holds her hand at all times.

Lately even the hospital scene - he has his hands on her shoulders.🤢

Thanks Namita. I feel really sorry for Chakor - she is a selfless and giving person - she does not deserve all that's happening to her.

I completely agree. She wants so little and when even that little is not accorded her...it's really sad. She always seemed more invested in the relationship than Suraj. Even though he claims he loves Chakor...he has not shared anything he thinks or feels with her. He always controls his thoughts. At least earlier he showed a healthy physical attraction for Chakor...which attracted all of us to Sukor...after the Imli love fiasco that completely disappeared and he always either resented her or was grateful to her. No sign of attraction or being in love.

Suraj has done nothing particularly special for Chakor when you compare against what she has done for him. She props him up...remember when the press came - she praised Suraj for the respect he has for Imli. i never understood it.

She has to date never questioned why Suraj never felt as bad for the things he has done to her. He has never apologized for snatching her first love, rape, forced marriage, none of them. Even the confession was so siloed.

I really hope now she will move on and get her validation from Ajay and her career.

I worry that once she finds the truth - she'll go back to Suraj like a kitten that'll take whatever crumbs she can get. I wont be surprised if she berates herself for the divorce. I don't want to see that. I want her to question Suraj's need to touch and comfort Imli. It's not just the baby...a one day mistake...it's everything else he's doing now.

this is SO poignantly, touchingly, hearbreakingly... beautifully written Priya.💔.
mercifully i have detached myself from this serial or else i would have just wept for this girl with the broken wings.

and i will call her Chakor.
that's it.

when a girl gives up the very identity she is born with to take on the name of her man.. it should be matter of honour for the man and he should be bloody well worth it.
so no Chakor Ranjvanshi for me but simply... a girl named Chakor.

i don't care much for white queens. always.. ALWAYS been biased towards dark knights. (well there is no knight here. dark or otherwise). for the first time ever i rooted for a White queen. i still think she is a fool who fell in love too soon, too easily and too madly.
and i still get awed by the sheer intensity, passion and depth of her love.

She deserved to be loved by a man who will think world of her. who will make her his world. who will take on the whole wide world for her.
any man less than that... and i will have to let go of the serial again. yes i am looking for entertainment from this mess of a story but a little part of my heart... still roots for this girl.
simply for being who she is.
simply for loving the way she did.

if the man is Ajay.. so be it.
if the man is Suraj... he bloody well make sure he is worth it.

you write with lot of beauty and heart. it is a gift priya.
so keep writing.

what a stunningly heart touchingly perfect first thread of yours. may there be many more. doesn't matter for this show or other... but keep writing.
