"I think you don't get it properly!!" He approached her with his gun dangerously aimed at her , the sound of his fingers on the trigger clearly showing he was far away from the term 'joke'..." This is neither a toy nor i am joking" His tone for sure din't fail to scare her but she din't budge her point
Where else was she supposed to go?? To those friends who stayed with her as long as fam were or those relatives and family who were celebrating her younger sister's happiness forgeting the elder's sorrow...she gulped down her fear,masking it by confidence and anger

The rest of the gang tried the obviously failing attempts to hide their snicker, they for sure never saw their boss in such a dilema, they saw people begging to be released, falling at Suraj's feet by just a glimpse of his gun but here there was this petite girl confronting him showing the least fear
He closed his eyes tight controlling his anger and she thought he'll surely give up to her demand but she soon felt something pass beside her ears followed by a loud 'bang' sound
Her heart pounded loud in her chest, she closed her eyes and ears frightenedly, 'He shot, he actually shot at her' rotated back and forth in her mind rendering her breathless, she missed it by just few inches she turned looking at the wall who held the bullet which almost digged her own grave
"Don't even dare to think , i missed that shot!" he looked at her scared face with a satisfied smirk on his own..." It was only to show you not to test my patience, it could have been very well your head and my bullet , now listen to me well and get the hell out of my place" He made his point clear to her
She controlled the tears which threatened to escape her eyes " No chakor! you have been through worst, you lost your everything" She thought about all she had in a flash of her mind, "Why fear losing your life now?"
She again bulk herself up walking to him... all looking at her wondering what was she up to now... she slowly moved her hands to his wrist which held his gun, pulling it against her forehead "Shoot!!" She faced him right in the eyes and rolled the words out her lips
He felt a rush of shivers along his spine...her fingers curled along his wrist, her touch felt like feathers against his hard rough skin, for the very first time someone was instigating him to shoot, it was a new feeling he was experiencing , something which was related to 'fear', he was for the first time afraid to shoot someone, her heaving chest, determined face, emotionless eyes , he was afraid of all those, his fingers strangely sweated against the trigger of his gun, 'where was the suraj who just shot at her?' He questioned to himself
"Shoot what are you waiting for???" Her voice pulled her out of his thoughts
She stood determined trying to read all those unknown expression which flashed across this stranger's face, she was inwardly counting the last second of her life, 'prolly that was meant to be' she said to herself but against life played a twist in her fate, he pushed her away causing her to fall hard against the ground
"Don't think you won!!!! i never mercy kill anyone" He gripped the handle of his gun tighter until his knuckles grew white
"So then you are letting me stay????" She stood cheerfully on her feet, happy of his change of mind 'he's perhaps more human than i thought' she thought
"NO!!!!! But lets play a game" He decided if not force then wit shall do, after all she was a dumb ex of Vivaan, shouldn't be tough to break with intelligence
"Game???" She was more puzzled now but then she wasn't the only one who was at that moment, all his fellow gang-mates were
"Suraj???? What if she wins??" Adi whispered to his buddy, he and jagan has been living with suraj eversince their childhood , never ever they saw him giving in anyone's wish, heck he never even allowed them to crack his shell but this girl was bringing the worst of him to the best point he himself never recognized he had
" I know what i am doing!" He whispered back feeling again all confident
She almost denied to his condition knowing it will be a tricked one but what other option did she have??? other than agreeing to his demands
"Ok..aay???" She accepted hesistantly
"So i will give you 1 hour, to make any of us here talk to you for atleast 5 min" He smirked at her paled face, she was not as dumb as he thought, he was amused by how she caught the tricky part so easily
'Make his people talk to her for atleast 5 min in 1 hour?? Impossible' she turned clockwise looking at all present in the room who looked at her like she was the most despised creature they ever looked at , 'they were well trained'
"And if i do it????" She tried the optimistic part of her
"If You do it! I'll allote you the permision to stay here until your's sister's doom day!!" he said looking at all his men as if daring them with his eyes to disobey him
"Okay!!! I am in though this is really unfair!!" She glared at him wishing she could strangle him for all the trouble he's throwing at her, she wasn't asking much, just a place to stay until she'll strong enough to face the world and right now even the gangster's den looking as appealing as heaven , way more appealing than her own house or anywhere she could face anyone who knew her as CHAKOR THE STAR ATHELETE
"Your time starts now!"He pointed towards the clock with read 2.00 pm ..." You're ON" Chakor narrowed her eyebrows at him
"Hey Guys i am Chakor!!" She turned all cheerfully to the others but she was greeted back by the most cold behavior, the men dispersed in their own direction refusing to face her, the only ones who remained were suraj and the two who kidnapped her
"This is not fair!!!!!!" She stomped her feet angrily pouting her lips, clearly amusing the others who remained
"Suraj? Should i get the truck to throw our wrongly addressed parcel???" Jagan asked amused by the whole scene, it wasn't everyday they had such an amusing act in the devil's den
"No Miss this-is-not-fair will win this game, just watch it, i have full faith in her" Suraj taunted her amusingly
"Yes i will!! Thanks for all your faith i'll be sure not to disappoint you" she looked at the exit looking for other people who could help her to crack the win
"Are you included too in this game Suraj"adi asked him curiously
"Of course?? it will be unfair to put you all alone under this jungli billi's scanner!" He answered loud enough for it to it reach her ears
"JUNGLI BILLI MY FOOT" she let out between her gritted teeth
35 mins were already down from 1 hour and everybody refused to talk to her, forget about 5 mins, they din't even spare her a glimpse for 1 second
"Areh!!! What happened adi?? I can hear some cat sniffing in the background, just take a broom and shoo her off" he laughed at chakor's attempts knowing before hand they'll all go in dark , she sighed dejectedly, their chuckles echoing in her ears, 'where was she suppose to go next?' she removed her heels throwing it in a corner her legs pained from all those walks from one man to another persuading them to talk to her "Guys please talk to me!!! I am not mean i swear , i don't even bite, am pure veg!" she whined tiredly
Almost 50 mins were downand she knew she couldn't help a win at all, but what surprised suraj was she din't give up since soo long, he could see his toughest men pitying her and wishing to disobey him but his fear was greater than pity for her
She looked at the clock, almost 2.55 , and the people still refusing to talk to her, she lost...nothing could be done
"Okay i lost!!" She announced to suraj , preserving her sad expression and pouty lips, she turned walking towards the exit
He was surely surprised she lost, he could see her charm on everyone who fought hard with themselves not to talk to her, she had that innocence which everyone under his root lacked off, that was one of her biggest strength. He turned back to his work thinking it's all done but soon heard her painful cry
"Aaahhh" She fell down holding her bloody leg, she walked on a piece of glass
Everyone in the room approached her including Suraj
He actually felt a feeling he was again not familiar with thanks to this girl, HE FELT BAD FOR SOMEONE
He Knelt to her looking at her face tightened painfully, her hands holding her foot letting her blood drip on the ground
"Are you BLIND??? Along with being dumb????" He hurriedly removed the glass piece out of her foot making her yelp louder, and more blood dripping out
"Great!!! This is what happens to your kind!" He scolded while removing his handkerchief and tying her foot preventing the blood
"You broke that vase! And you suffered from it , how can you be sooo foolish?????!" He continued scolding while she looked at him feeling an unknown care reflecting in his words , crazy??? It felt like he was feeling the hurt of her wound, she shook her head smilingly 'hormones' she thought
"What are you smiling at??? Are you crack????" He glared at her but she only shrug and then realized she was suppose to be leaving since she lost her part
"Thanks" She mumbled going back to her sad mood, making suraj wanting to bang his own head against a wall, the less time spent with her the better for him "i'll just leave now" She pulled her foot painfully out of his grip attempting to stand
"I don't think you have to go!" Adi announced
"What the hell are you saying adi???" Suraj scolded loudly
"look at the clock" He said making all turn, the clock showed 3.00 pm exact
"So????" Suraj asked puzzled but chakor understood the click
"SOOO I can stayy!!!!" She yell loud in his ears forgetting her pain
"Wait what?????" he shook his head grasping what she just said and wondering if his ears still function
"Yes!!! YOU MY FRIEND just talked to me for 5 mins!!!" She clapped her hands all childishly and happily
Never have them saw anyone soo happy at being kidnapped and for being agreed to stay with them in their den
"FINE!!! You can stay but i have more conditions!!!" He glared at Adi for being such a spoilsport but he lifted his head avoiding the gaze of suraj knowing he'd be in a fix if caught
"More conditions?? But that's unfair!!" She whined
"I never said i'd play fair!" his smirking and ruthless state got back as he announced " while you are here you will be our temporary maid if you agree you can stay, since we are surely not receiving any ransom for your stay!"
She thought about the deal for a while and agree thinking what can be worst than this but least she knew how wrong she was
"okay! I agree!" she accepted, trying to stay back on her feet but the pain caused her to trip again, but this time she din't fall, someone's hand embraced her bare waist tight, holding her upright
His arms were the perfect fit for her was what he felt, he had no doubt been close to many girls but most of those were hoes who tried to seduce him for money or personal information, her being soo close affected her in a completely different way, she wasn't turning him on but she was arousing his senses in a way he never experienced before
He left her as he felt her struggling against his grip, he looked at her waist and found the red imprint of his finger against her fair skin 'when did he hold her soo tight?? he din't even realize'
She struggled to keep her feet on the ground but she felt happy for once, she was allotted the permision to stay' perhaps this is the fresh commencement' she thought happily looking all around the place which was going to be her house for next month
