He never felt like this after he tried to rape Chakor and still went ahead being a jerk to her, but today he felt so much pain and remorse for what he had to do to Imli on her insistance...and frankly this bothers me somewhat

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I agree Suraj isn't over Imli yet. He was pretty self-destructive after ImVaan got together. He would've probably continued on that path had KNR's return not jolted him back to reality.

Honestly, I don't see the need for them to hurry. Let him realise what a supremely selfish, jealous, petty person she is and fall out of love for all the right reasons instead of randomly falling in love with Chakor.

It could very well be that he isn't over Imli and that's why he is remorseful. If this is correct, that tells me that we will get Suraj being remorseful over what he almost did to Chakor.

So, he hurts and is capable of feeling when it's someone he loves.

That raises another question, does he care for his brother Vivaan, somewhere deep down. He was pretty upset and angry over the whole fiasco.

His expression when Vivaan was taking a beating was of a helpless big brother!!

So, what are the CV's trying to show us? Suraj changing and feeling for the better or is he still hung up on Imli!!
