Is not about Imli or Chakor. Is about Suraj character falling for a teenage girl who is 10 or 12 years younger than him. He used to treat her with chocolates and ice-creams and I can't get over the fact that he was actually having "othe" thoughts about her and that Imli was right on being obsessed about him. Also the fact that he was so in love with one girl but capable of flirting with an other one doesn't speak well about him. In the future he may do the exact thing, tell his wife that he loves her and bring home another baby with an other woman just KN did. I was expecting the new generation will not make the same mistakes as their parents, but looks that the history will repeat.
Maybe in a couple of days I'll get over these negative thoughts when I'll be able to see the complete picture.

i dont think he had any such thoughts about imli initially. that mistake on the drunken night has cost him. my personal feeling is imli constantly flinging the baby on his face worked on his conscience . but is it really love for her or the baby we will know subsequebtly but whatever it is , it had developed recently with chakor throwing imli on his face all the time and imli throwing the baby on his face all the time.

we should not forget he was ready to marry tina even if when he was flirting with chakor , he never expressed a desire or interest in chakor that way, we had raised our hopes so we are feeling cheated. the bullet incident , the night he turned up at their house were perhaps subconciously all for imli , we deliberately believed it for chakor but the story never hinted chakor at any point of time. nowhere were we led to believe that he will fall for chakor . when the swap happened also he was clear he was marrying chakor to teach her a lesson not to have a good life with her

Yes, VJ is definitely brilliant in emotional scenes. It' s only his acting that makes Suraj still acceptable after all that he has done. If there was any other actor, I'm sure Suraj would have been totally hated by now. But I fell sorry for VJ that he has to play such an inconsistent charcter as Suraj.

I feel the same way Claudia for exactly the same reasons. Suraj character has lost its charm. There is nothing new in his characterisation - just an ordinary guy with low standards - in his choice of love.

Radhika - Chakor was in love with Vivaan when Suraj forced this marriage on her. She is fully justified in going Vivaan Vivaan. While I hated it then - bcos I wanted Skor - if she had not done that just bcos Suraj forced her into a deceptive marriage - like a pathetic adarsh wife they show in other serials -I would have thought less of her.

Suraj showed no remorse in making the switch. While we thought there was some deep rooted attraction for Chakor this was justifiable somewhat. Knowing he did it while somewhere in love with him makes Suraj 🤢. VJ acting is great - but even with that - there is simply no chemistry between Imli and Suraj. While I will still follow the show to see where the cvs take it...the initial charm of Sukor is gone!

While this drama is going on KN will probably show up - causing all this to pause with status quo and no change in the couples.

Even if Suraj falls for Chakor now - the magic is gone.

The only way things will change for me is if Suraj is just acting in love... and with every passing episode this seems less and less likely.

all those incidents like taking the bullet , going to their house at midnight, the way he looked at the girls on the sangeet were all for imli .

we assumed all was for chakor . our fault . suraj had no such intentions for chakor he was happy to let her get married to vivaan , he was simply not bothered about chakor . it is his anger at being cheated by chakor that led to the swap esle he would not have come between chakor and vivaan

and added to it he never suspected imli was lying we did . he accepted the baby as his in front of everyone though we refused to believe it 😆

we led ourselves to believe that he did all for chakor so this feeling of let down

there was never any love between suraj and chakor for us to feel chaeted. we led our selves to believe there was and hence we feel cheated😆

i think suraj character has been consistent but we led ourselves to believe he was inconsistent because it suited us and we wanted him with chakor

After almost six months of marriage, it started to affect him his flavorless married life. Six months and his wife will not give him even a glass of water!
About Tina, I always thought that he was after her only because it didn't work out with Chakor. It started after he couldn't get that kiss. I'm sure he wasn't going to stop at the kiss. He probably wanted the kiss to be the beginning of something else. Since he couldn't get that, he tried to find another girl to be his interest.

again about tina i think this is our wishful thinking. my feeling is that he was never interested in chakor in the way we thought or assumed he was😆 he was ready to humiliate her and go to any extent for it

yes chakor can never accept a person like him . his flavourless marriage was a turning point as well . no one would want chakor considering how she was behaving . but am not blaming her he deserved it as well . good he is rectifying it now

all of us who rooted for suraj and chakor may feel cheated mainly becoz of our own assumptions about many scenes . we tried to find interpretations for scenes when there was none, hence we found suraj inconsistent

when you go back and think about all the scenes and take them for what they are without adding connotations to them it is crystal clear that

he may have flirted with chakor but was never had any romantic feelings for her. he was happy to let her marry vivaan

he cared for imli but did not have romantic feelings for imli either but the baby and constant flaunting of imli in front of him by chakor and his colourless married life probably changed it

he accepted there was a baby and it was his . he never doubted it except in fit of anger the first time

he was always clear he was marrying chakor for revenge and money

the kissing challenge, the first night scenes only prove that he would go to any lengths to humiliate her and not because he had feelings for her

we interpreted all this differently hence accuse suraj of being inconsistent . when you take them for what they are suraj was confused about his feelings for imli but was never ever in love or had any romantic feelings for chakor

All good points Radhika - but these scenes were all left vague - intentionally to confuse us. Chakor brought up the bullet question and Suraj did not respond. It's not like we deluded ourselves - CVs intentionally created this confusion. There is inconsistency. Why wouuld a guy hang out late nite in a jeep outside imli's house and then get her married to vivvan without a thought! Suraj must be crazy!

No love but a lot of physical attraction for Chakor was shown again and again! It's gross that he loves one sister and lusts after the other. You are absolutely right - we had an image of Suraj who was better inside than was depicted - stronger, smarter, caring. Hard to come to terms with reality.

As Siddy said, justified or not - I feel cheated.
