Breaking Dawn Casting News: The Denali Coven Has Been Officially Cast!!

It's official: The Denali Coven has been cast!! Eleazar will be played by Christian Camargo (known for his roles in The Hurt Locker, and as Dexter's crazy brother in Showtime's hit show Dexter), Tanya is played by Myanna Buring, Kate will be played by Casey LaBow (CSY: NY), and Carmen will be portrayed by Mia Maestro! We had previously reported that Maggie Grace has been cast as Irina.

Summit Entertainment announced today the following have been cast in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN for roles in The Denali Coven as outlined below.

The Denali Coven is comprised of Christian Camargo (THE HURT LOCKER, Dexter) as Eleazar; Casey LaBow (Moonlight) as Kate; Mia Maestro (Alias, POSEIDON) as Carmen; MyAnna Buring (DOOMSDAY) as Tanya; as well as previously announced Maggie Grace (Lost, TAKEN) as Irina.

The Denali Coven is the only other "vegetarian" vampire coven in the world, considered cousins to the Cullens.

The next chapter of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011 and the second coming to theatres on November 16, 2012.

Academy Award winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing.

....I'm kinda disappointed with Tanya's casting. I didn't exactly imagine her like that. I thought she was a strawberry blonde..... But the rest are great! Thanks!

I agree with Jot !! like What Edward told about Tanya's description, I too was thinking thaht she has to be beyond beautiful !!! Though Myanna Buring looks good !!

OMG!! Please, What is this.... Tanya ? Are you for serious?? Tanya should be played by someone like Jessica Alba or Megan Fox .... or NINA.D (Vampire.D). Seriously this is a total let down. Don't mind anyone else but UGH her casting is totally BAD!!

Looks like a great team to bring us the last two movies. Still not sure if I should be scared or not about this whole thing. I still can't see how they'll manage to make this book two movies. There simply isn't enough material for it 😕
