Discussion Of The Week

What exactly is it about Twilight that drew you in and made you love it? What is it about it that has made you be a fan for so long?

Is it the plot?
The characters?
One character in particular?
The writing style?

Vampires?
The romance?
The adventure?
The relationships?

E/B's connection?
Something more intangible?
The crazy fan following?
All of the above?

Let's try and pin point exactly what it is about this series that fascinates people.

Everything written there drew me in.

The way Stephanie Meyer had written the whole book, the characters personalities, (I remember I used to dislike Edward in the start), the vampires LOL @Rosalie she was my favourite, and Alice,. +& then the romance between Edward and Bella, then Eclipse; the love triangle made me 🤣
Everything about Twilight ❤️ 😎
I didn't read Twilight till two years ago, when my friends started begging me to read it. +& I finished all four books in three days. 😎 +& Kept reading them again and again like a low life until my mom had to hide them from me. 😆 🤣
Also many girls seem to like the bad, dangerous type of guys, that's why many Twilight Fans are obsessed with Rob/Edd. 😳 😉

3 days? You are setting up a record there Ebony. I could have finished the saga early since I'm a book worm but I was worried that once I'm done with the books I will miss it so like an idiot I went as slow as possible with the reading😆

The first thing I loved about these books was sparkly vampires especially THE EDWARD CULLEN. honestly, that's what made me pick it up.

I also love the Cullen family and what they stand for. Regardless of the different people within the family, from all different places, they put their families wants and needs before anything else. Sure they're vampires with millions of dollars and are practically immortal. But, it's just a lovely thing to experience.

I like that the books take me away from reality, more so than any other books I've read. As soon as I got hooked on Twilight... there was no going back.

Last but not the least I really liked the unwavering love and adoration Edward has for Bella. Regardless of what she does, or what she decides, that kind of idealistic true love... is something amazing. Something rare. So, it's a beautiful thing to get lost within the pages of Stephenie Meyer's books, and discovering wondrous things.

Personally I hated the books and everything related to it because when things get over hyped I lose intrest in them but as you People went crazy when the movie came out so I Read the books.
As Soon as Bella says "Who Are They" I was hooked because right them is where the Cullens and Mr.Hottie enter so I was completely drowned into the books.
Its just the way Edward&Bella were together had me hooked and also The plot of Vamp&Human was so interesting.

I would take my books anywhere. Once My&My friends hit the mall and I honestly hate shopping so what I did was go into the food court and sit there for hours reading Twilight. This other time I was sitting at a bus stand waiting for the bus and it passed me 3 times and I didn't even notice. 😆

I finished the Saga in a Week but then re-read it like a billion times.

I remember, after I had read all four books, I started them again.
I got low grades because I would read them during class, my teacher ripped my eclipse book and threw it in the bin, I made him buy a new copy. 😆

Same here. Infact I still read those books with the similar enthusiasm as the first time. It still makes me smile and brings out the dreamy looks of me.
I guess somethings never gets old.

I totally skipped New Moon and kept looking for the Edward parts. What upset me the most was how Bella kept addressing Edward as "him" Anyway I don't think I reread New Moon either but Twilight/Eclipse/BD so many times. I have the pdf version of these saved on my phone so I could read it anywhere I wanted.😛

What drew me into twilight?

I am a very ignorant type of person and if there is something new which people talk about then I tend to ignore. However it was my friend's, Ananya, craze which made me fascinated it.

My curiosity built up even more as I met more fans.

And of course I made many RP sigs for my friend so she is happy. I ended up watching the movie for her so I get to understand her craze a bit more. Now I have watched the second movie too and have started reading the books. ..but now I am a fan too and it isn't just to understand her or fans.
