I would take my books anywhere. Once My&My friends hit the mall and I honestly hate shopping so what I did was go into the food court and sit there for hours reading Twilight. This other time I was sitting at a bus stand waiting for the bus and it passed me 3 times and I didn't even notice. 😆

I finished the Saga in a Week but then re-read it like a billion times.

Ayysha..i'm pretty sure you meant Mr.Hottie unless it's one of the Cullens gals you're talking about which you aren't. It's pretty obvious. DON'T COMPLAIN....I had to correct that.

What drew me in?

Well...i heard LOTS about Twilight everywhere i went...mostly at school and i never paid attention. I just thought it was some stupid book that people were going crazy over and then when people constantly kept talking and talking, talking and talking and TALKING about it, i got tired. I had to know what was about that book that made people so crazy about it or else i would've gone insane. I kept telling myself, i'd read it, i'd read it but let's just say, no matter what i just wasn't interested.

And so as we all know, the movie released shortly after the hype about the book started and so my friends literally FORCED me to watch it and then i actually liked it. That was when i decided i WOULD read the book. 🤣

I waited until summer which was i think...lemme count...😆....which was nearly 8 months later.😲🤣 I bought the series and read them in less than 3 days. 😕 I was sitting in the living room with soft music on and reading Twilight practically everyday... hence me finishing it in 3 days.

It's just that when i start a book or series, i can't sleep properly until i finish the whole thing..it's like an OCD thing. 😳

I'm a total book worm..no matter what book that is. So anyways..after reading the book, i was in love with it. And here i am now.....😃My love for vampires...all thanks to Twilight. I read The Vampire Diaries not only because of Jot (Angelic_J) but also because i have this thing for vamps after Twilight. 😉🤣

Ananya....wonderful discussion yaar! Did my answer become a bit tooo big?...Oops. See? When i get started on something interesting, i go on and on. 😕🤣 I still have tons to say but i'm keeping it in or else this will be a LONNGGG essay. 😳🤣

I know i usually write in just black but today, i'm feeling colourful. 😕

@Jot: Nope your answer is perfect. I'm yet to read TVD. I'm not sure I can accept any other vampire after Edward. I started True Blood and left it midway so I have a feeling it'll be same for TVD.😆

My thoughts exactly (before reading TVD). I wasn't sure if i'd like any other vamp book but i was wrong. You should definitely read it. I promise you'll love it.

I'v never read True Blood and after watching like one epi of the show, i lost interest in the show and the book.😆

Well i came to know of the books when Twilight movie released in India.... that was in the end of 2009......

I am a sucker for love, romantic books, movies... so when i realised Edward, A Vamp falls in love with Bella, a Human... i was intrigued.. it was like.. i just had to read the book... i read all of them... in a span of few days.... i was like really fast... i was studying with a textbook in 1 hand and Twlight Saga in another, ate meals while reading it... read it before sleeping... woke up with the book.. read it while in the loo.. doing my chores 🤣 read it in the class.... i JUST loved it sooo much!!!!! and then i dwnloaded the movies and saw them.. and i was struck.. i had fallen in LOVE.. this was the 1st time... i had neva loved any character in the book and the movie soo much in my 18yrs of life!!!!

like Edward says... His voice, His face, his smile (cant say smell can i ? 😆).. EVERYTHING about him drew me in....

i think after that i have read all the books with Edward; and Bella innit like a million times.... The books are like a treasure to me... Very possessive abt them.. never let anyone TOUCH it... 😆

a bit too much eh?? but thats wat the type of hold it has on me.... 😳

I actually wasn't interested in Twilight earlier
There was all talks about Twilight...twilight this..twilight that...
I knew the basic concept that it was about a vampire and a human falling in love with each other.
I though it was some horror movie or something like that, n so didn't quite pay any attention.
But during one of my night outs, my friend suggested I watch the movie.
I was reluctant, but nonetheless agreed and since then................
I fell in love with Twilight
Love the whole Cullen family
*sigh* wish I was one of them
😆
N now I'm eagerly waiting for BD 😃
I wish SM writes sequel or something for Twilight coz I don't want it to end!

well i was always a avid story reader,.... once in a bookstore i was just surfing through few books randomly bt found them totally uninteresting suddenly somthing caught my eye

'' first edward was a vampie

second,there was a part of him-and i dont know how dominent that part might be-that thirsted for my blood and third,i was unconditionally and irrevocally in luv with him''

these lines caught my attention n i started reading the twilight saga[i always luved somthing non-human n am a big fan of harry potter n i hav even read wuthering heights]

n from there,there was no lookin bak i was in luv vid twilight n EDWARD CULLEN.......

earlier i used to read books like i was some story book maniac but 3 yrs back when i got accepted into a sports academy and started living in their sports hostel i gave up reading coz i wouldnt get time . so once when i went to my former school to meet all my friends and teachers i saw some juniors discussing twilight and stuff and that same day my bff brought the twilight dvd home for me to watch. i was like yuck!!! i hate luv stories coz i am more of a friendship believer and then for not being rude i watched it with her and i kind of dozed off. then when i came back to hostel my room mate got changed and i was put up with a girl who was a story book worm and slowly i caught it from her and on my bffs insistence i read new moon and i simply loved it coz i could connect with it well becoz it was a friendship thingy and i totally fell in love with jacob and after that i made sure i would see new moon when it released and sure enough i cought the movie and even bought the dvd.
so it was Jacob, his cheerfulness, liveliness and carefree nature that drew me in
