Volturi & Cullens?

i just read 'The short second life of Bree Tanner', so i was just not understanding one thing which was, as earlier hinted in eclipse, the Volturi wanted the end of Cullens . i was wondering why that was, if anyone can please tell . it just seemed that way in Eclipse but in this book, they've disclosed it was exactly that way . i don't know why :(

hey ya .. i thought the samee.. firstly, i think Bella was not very important to them once alice showed them that she was going to be one of them and secondly, alice & edward, what will the volturi get if they were dead and even if they survived, i dun think they wud have gone to volturi, in any case 🤔

well, i think, one is that they feel threatened..... i mean the Volturri... after themselves... Cullen is the largest Coven.... so they do not like it... and then ofcourse... a "Human"(Bella) knowing abt the existence of Vamps... which is a rule broken by the Cullens... so the Volturri decided to kill them...

and yes, like Harsha said... they wanted Ed and Alice in their "Gang"... its either that or they wud die... they wudnt want some one over powering them..... hmm.. yes, i think thats the main reason
