The High School Musical star apparently auditioned for sequel New Moon...

Vanessa Hudgens has apparently auditioned for the Twilight sequel New Moon, according to Twilight actress Ashley Greene.

Greene told MTV.com that The High School Musical star tried out for the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater, Jacob Black's feisty and heartbroken frienemy.

'I think she'd be great' Greene told our colleagues in the US.

Greene also stated that the Twillight writers are rewriting of the script for New Moon.

Well she's a great actress but i also don't think she should be Leah, she's small and after them thinking of recasting Taylor because of his height, she's no taller, smaller more like. my friends are gonna be well angry as well.
