Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson)

Edward Cullen is a century-old vampire who falls in love with a human girl, Bella Swan. When Bella is put in danger by his own family, Edward must make a difficult choice.

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart)

Isabella Swan is a high school junior who moves to Forks to live with her police chief father. She falls in love with the vampire Edward Cullen, but when they are separated by circumstances, Bella befriends the young Jacob Black, who offers her a different life than she expected.

Kristen Stewart is an American actress who is best known for her work in Panic Room, In The Land Of Women, and Into The Wild. She was nominated for a SAG Award and several Young Artist Awards for her performance in Into The Wild.

Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner)

Jacob Black is Bella's best friend and a member of the Quileute tribe. He is in love with Bella and does everything in his power to win her over.

Taylor Lautner is an American actor who is known for his roles in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and Cheaper By The Dozen 2.

Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene)

Edward's adoptive sister Alice is a pixie-like vampire with the ability to see the future. She becomes friends with Bella Swan and helps Edward protect her. She is married to Jasper.

Ashley Greene is an American actress and model who is best known for her role in Twilight. She began her career with a small role on Crossing Jordan, and has also appeared on MADtv and Punk'd.

Emmett Cullen (Kellan Lutz)

Emmett Cullen is Edward's adoptive brother and is married to Rosalie. He has a very playful sense of humor and enjoys teasing Bella to make her blush.

Kellan Lutz is an American actor and model who is best known for his roles in The Comeback and 90210.

Rosalie Hale (Nikki Reed)

Rosalie Hale is Edward's adoptive sister and is married to Emmett. She is beautiful and vain, concerned mainly with her appearance. She does not like Bella and resents her relationship with Edward.

Nikki Reed is an American actress and screenwriter who is best known for her work on Thirteen, which she wrote and acted in. Nikki won several awards for the film.

Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone)

Jasper Hale is Edward's adoptive brother and is married to Alice. He has the ability to control the emotions of those around him. He is the newest vampire in the Cullen family and struggles with their lifestyle.

Jackson Rathbone is an American actor and musician who is known for his work on the television series Beautiful People as well as several films such as River's End and The Valley of Light.

Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli)

Carlisle Cullen is the adoptive father and leader of the Cullen family. He is exceptionally compassionate and works as a doctor at the local hospital.

Peter Facinelli is an American actor who has studied at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City. He is best known for his roles in Fastlane and Six Feet Under.

Esme Cullen (Elizabeth Reaser)

Esme Cullen is Carlisle's wife and the adoptive mother of Edward and his siblings. She is kind and caring, and she welcomes Bella into their lives without hesitation.

Elizabeth Reaser is an American actress who is best known for her work on Grey's Anatomy and The Family Stone. She graduated from the Julliard School of Drama with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree.

Tonight Show Pictures!

You remember how it went when Rob was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last month. They talked about his dad, what he refers to as his "joke car", and Heidi Klum then brought up "the hair". In his usual Rob humor, he answered he doesn't have a great sense of hygiene or style. Watch it again here.

The Electric New Paper has an article about Rob's type of women. Seems he's got a thing for smart women like Tina Fey. Snippet!

'They're all pretty young,' Pattinson, who is single, said somewhat sheepishly.

'I don't really have a 'type', but I like smart people. You know, I really like (comedienne-actress) Tina Fey. She is, like, the sexiest woman.'

He also admitted having crushes on actresses Patricia Arquette and Elisabeth Shue at one point.

Looks like he does have a 'type' - older women.

Also, according to Entertainment Weekly, Summit has set a tentative release date for New Moon - November 20, 2009. Filming with new director Chris Weitz will begin in March.
