I know I am setting myself up for being disliked by some members on this forum and let me say at the outset that I am not trying to upset or offend anyone. This is just my opinion.
But I have to say that today I was disappointed with Veer's behaviour.
I do not have any problem with the fact he is angry with Pakhi, not speaking to her, showing her the watch to say they need to leave, telling her to walk if she does not want to come with him, blaring his horn, telling her in no uncertain that as once he has fulfilled his responsibilities he will leave and they will go their separate ways, sarcastically asking her not to speak to him about his "hasarate puri karna" and thanking her. All of that is absolutely fine.
But I was disappointed at him for allowing Jiji to blackmail him into silence and forcing Pakhi to do things that she did not want to do. I understand that he owes a huge debt to Jiji and she is older but what is happening is not right or fair. How would he like it if he had to do what Pakhi was forced to do today.
Veer ... it is easy to stand up to your enemies but it's harder to stand up to those you care about...
It's not good enough to give Jiji dirty looks and say is this necessary? I don't have time for these household fights. Please don't turn into one of those over grown mummy's boys who allows wrong things to happen in front them and does nothing. Stand up for Pakhi like you did to Lavenya and Anjua when they were out of order with Pakhi... Because a gentleman is a gentleman no matter what the circumstances or the situations.
