Lavanya, I think is doing whatever she is doing to protect her brother...I can understand that...I too get frustrated when my siblings say they want something and do something completely contradictory...

The main thing is TRP...,IK has good fan following but I think SA is new and doesn't...not yet anyway...

Nice post sush.. I loved the friday's episode...it was better than thursday one..which was lil bit slow ... I really like small scenes they show between Anshuman and pakhi.. If we keep aside in what situation these ppl are...situations are pretty much between husband n wife...😊

Yesterdays epi was good on so many levels.One thing I agree completely is that this show doesnt keep us hanging much.Like we now know why Maaji wanted to make things difficult to Pakhi,or why Lavanya is the way she is.The scene in the office was really well done.Indirectly lavanya realises the treatment Buaji gives her is nothing less to what she gives Pakhi.The taunts ,sarcastic comments to sweet,accomodating Pakhi.Lavanya has this air of perfection around her,no one should question her about that.Thats why she is finding it difficult to deal with infertility. The conversation in the office where she was complaining to Girish and Anshu was made into a light moment by Girish with Pakhi coming into the frame.But one wonders if there is more to it,Girish always tolerates her moods.However difficult she be's ,We see him trying to be romantic,whereas she doesnt move a inch of her facial muscle.The next scene in her office she was informed about the pregnancy of one of the colleague..she struggled with her expression,as if it raise some turmoil within her.And very next second she easily camouflage it with her annoyance and caustic remark.Was Lavanya this way before,or something happened that made her this way.Cold,distant.May be once Buaji enters we might get a clear picture.

Lovely analysis Sush and I love the interesting discussion that happens in this thread.

Coming to the episode, I liked the fact that Pakhi is straightforward, enthusiastic and making efforts spontaneously to make the relationship work. I really liked the dining table scene and her sending mms to Anshuman. It was so natural to see a couple sharing normal relationship.
The way she was teasing Anshuman and enjoying the moment was treat to watch. Aur Anshuman ki halat dekhne layak thi. Iqbal ' s expression was
Spot on.

One small observation that this village girl knows how to use fork and also
Know the table manners. I must say she is well groomed to be part of up class culture.

I disliked Anshuman today for the first time for plotting against Pakhi with
Servants. As its him degrading himself. Ok you want to get rid of her, but atleast be fair. It reflects badly on his oh so loved image only infront of his servants. The way he was glancing at the servants when Pakhi was serving,
Sitting beside him, it was looking like he was asking for help and saying uff ab yeh bhi jhelna hai. Dude have some respect for the relationship as you are part of that dynamics too though forcegully and unintentionally. Tum khudko bhi demean hi kar rahe ho.it was in really poor taste for me.

Regarding Lavanya, yup she has issues wrt kids. May be thats why she is so bitter at times. But I dont think she will ever like Pakhi as in original novel she is the one who succeeds driving her away from her brother life. Girish is fine and may be future ally but looks spineless infront of L.

Waiting for next week to see how Pakhi fails overconfident Anshuman 's plans.

Heyy Sush 😃 had been a silent reader of your posts during those thrilling "Voldemort" days😳... i admire ur writing style.

Coming to the show, it is surprisingly well scripted, tight and has me hooked. All thanks to the simple refreshing narrative, simple characters and attention to detail. Liking it so far!

Also, the show gets better wid every episode for me...Friday one being the best one so far. I am looking forward to watch the Lavanya-Paakhi relationship growth too. Lavanya, though not pleasant, isn't a typical vamp either. This angle definitely has scope if explored sensibly...considering that the show didnt take an unreasonable dramatic route even after two whole weeks, guess there is no harm in expecting a meaningful track 👍🏼

Of all the characters, i am liking Paakhi and Girish more😆... only wished for a fun element about her which was again taken care of in Friday's dinner scene. Anshuman is quite real, love Iqbal's subtlety in his portrayal. The best thing about TP has to be the very "normal" interactions between the couple...especially from P's side. The show is surely promising...expecting few worthwhile months of breezy entertainment!😃
