Dimmple has lost it!
The actress shed ten kilos in three months

Getting into shape can be a full time occupation. Take the case of Dimmple, last seen playing Sania in Tumhari Disha as the evil Sania who quit the serial a few months after its launch. But after quitting the show she got busierâloosing all the weight she had gained. The results are already showingâDimmple has lost ten kilos in the last three months.
"For the last couple of months I had been enjoying myself excessively. I had been partying till late and eating junk food and binging on cocktails too. My disorganised lifestyle created havoc and I gained weight in a short span," says Dimmple.
When her weight got out of hand, Dimmple decided to take it upon herself to get back into shape.
"I had to lose that weight for which I put myself through a strict regime. I enrolled myself in a fitness centre and started training under Shashi. I would run for seven kilometres everyday and worked extensively on my abs," she says.
Exercise apart, Dimmple had to re-work her diet. "I love food and would munch on anything and everything," she says. "In the new scheme of events, I cut down on my food too. I reduced the oil intake. My food is now cooked in just one teaspoon of olive oil. Whenever I got hungry, I ate apples or drank fruit juices. I found out healthier substitutes for food. I would eat brown bread or make a dish of puffed rice. I tried to experiment with health food."
The task was not easy, especially for a person like Dimmple who loves eating. "It has taken me great determination to reduce weight. I love non vegetarian food and would crave for it. Thai food, pasta and cheese would always be on my mind but I had to be strong-willed to let go of thoughts on food. I also had to refuse soft drinks. In fact, I had stopped going out for a while for fear of it upsetting my diet," she says.
Her determination has paid off. "When I started training in March, I had told my trainer that I wanted to look sexy by July, something I have achieved successfully," she says.
