Exactly di she has shifted her focus from study and career to being an ideal bahu. The status of ideal bahu seems to attract her and almost all her time is devoted to it. Malhar feels that a degree from University and a name that she earns from career is much more important than the the ideal bahu certificate that she gets from the public and his family. He values former than the latter

I also feel like this is a plan of some sort. But I am not understanding why he is doing this?

Is he hoping she will fail or pass the challenge? I do understand that if she fails, Bapji and Asha will make her life hell, and he wants to send her away before that happens.

I told na yesterday most of the married girls here attend their collages from maika because it is easier for them. They usually go to sasural on Fridays and Monday sasural see collage athe he aur Eve maike vaapsa.the same arrangements for happens during holidays also. rest who attends from sasural goes maika during exams . Beacause it is easier for them.to concentrate and study sasural mein toh full responsibility Lene padtha he har ceez ka. Here malhar can't send kallu to maika so only left option he feels is sasural .

That is the problem with Malhar, he should talk to her and make her understand why he is doing that. He wants her to focus on study not on being a bahu. She is enduring all the taunts from them for him. He will loose her if he keeps doing it because hurting her is not a good way and I really want her to go to hostel after she wins the challenge and not to keep any contact with him then he will understand.

I do think it will go to the point where the night before the 14th day, they will have an emotional moment.

Malhar will really feel it then.
