K: toh tum married nhi ho?
M: huh?

Now was his turn to get shocked!

M: kalyani tumhe kahi pune ki hawa to nahi lag gayi? Kaisi betuki baatein kar rahi ho? Mai yaha pareshan hu aur tumhe dekhke lag raha hai ki pata nahi konsi khush khabri dedi Maine? Aakhir chal kya raha hai tumhare dimaag mei babygirl?

He said and as soon as she heard her favorite nickname, she smiled looking at him. It's been a year since she heard her nickname from him and obviously missed it!

M: ab hasne lagi? Kahi pagal wagal to nahi hogayi ho na?

She then made a serious face and hugged him!

K: Malhar, I missed u so much!

He was in a dilemma as she hugged him! In childhood it was other thing since she was small but now she is an adult and it would be awkward for him.

K: hug me fast warna mai ye maan lungi ki tumne mujhe miss nahi kiya.

His chain of thoughts broke as she spoke. He immediately hugged her by caging her in his arms.

M: I missed you too baby girl! Tumhe miss kiya bina ek pal bhi nahi gaya mera!

K: accha toh hug karne mei itna time kyu lagaya?

She asked breaking the hug but still standing close to him!

M: woh ab tum badi ho gayi ho na isliye kahi awkward...

She cut him in between.

K: Malhar aisa kucch bhi nahi hai! Mai hmesha tumhari babygirl hu, ok?

M: ok!

he smiled at her bossy attitude.

K: chalo ab mujhe puri baat batao!

She said comfortably sitting on his bed! And he told her how happy he was during all the wedding functions but at the wedding sampada ditched him with her boyfriend and left him. How he got broken because of all the drama! And top of all his baby girl refused to talk to him! He was betrayed and broken entirely!

K: Malhar I am really sorry but meri bhi majburi thi.

M: lekin tum naaraaz kyu thi aur ab achanak kya hua?

K: wo mai tumhe baad mei bataungi tum pehle batao sampada se tumhara rishta karvaya kisne?

M: woh ek bua thi but tumhe yeh kyu janna hai?

K(in mind): unki wajah se itna royi hu mai! Chodungi nhi! Pura badla lungi!

M: kalyani kya hua?

She came out of her thoughts!

K: huh.. Kucch nhi bas kucch soch rahi thi..

He was about to say something when Malhar's mother came in

K: namaste aunty! Kaisi hai aap?

Kalyani said as she hugged her!

Malhar's mother: bilkul badiya aur ab tum aagayi ho to is nalayak ke liye koi ladki bhi dhund dena ye mana bhi nhi kare tumhe!

M: aayi kya aap bhi? Kalyani abhi toh aayi hai! Aur college mei bhi to admission lena hai ise!

K: aunty aap chinta mat kariye mai malhar ke liye ek acchi si ladki dhundungi!

He raised his eye btow at her while his mother smiled!

MM: bilkul! Tum dono neeche aajao khana ready hai

K: ji!

Malhar's mother went away.

M: baby girl kahi tum apne jaisi ladki dhundne ka toh nhi soch rahi..

K: kyu? Koi problem hai?

M: nahi woh mai sirf ek babygirl ko handle kar sakta hu do do nhi!

He laughed

K: very funny! Tumhari Baby girl sirf mai hi hu, understand?

He nodded in affirmation as the Kalyani Deshmukh was not to be messed up with!

K: Malhar chalo mujhe college drop kardo!

She said holding his hand as he took his car keys

M: chalo!

As they were about to leave Malhar's Aparna bua entered! He immediately touched her feet!

M: kaisi hai aap bua?
A: bilkul badiya! Mai tumhare liye ek bohot accha rishta laayi but! Tumhe ye ladki zarur pasand aayegi!

Before she could hand him the envelope kalyani grabbed it!

K: ek minute! Kya aap bhul gayi ki last time aapke liye hue rishte ki wajah se mere dost ka dil tut gaya tha! Aap mere rehte aisa dubara hargiz nhi kar paayengi.

She handed her the envelope back

K: aapka rishta aapko mubarak! Malhar ke liye ladki dhundne ki koi zarurat nhi h! Mai hu uske liye!

A: tum ho kaun haa? Itna pata patar bol rahi ho!

K: Ye bataana mai aapko zaruri nhi samajhti!

Malhar gave an apologetic look to aparna

K: chalo Malhar!

They went away and he laughed as they sat in his jeep!

M: thanks babygirl aaj toh tumne bacha liye rishte waali bua se!

K: ab mai aagayi hu na, dekhna sab theek kar dungi!

The both hified and left.

Kalyani came out of her college to notice Malhar waiting for her in his jeep! And she approached him

M: tum college mei padayi karti ho bhi ya nhi? Movie wagera ke baare mei to nhi sochti rehti?

K: karti hu na Malhar!

M: accha aur ye kya hai?

He said pointing towards her hair bun ( the hairstyle which she had in first few episodes)

K: ise bun kehte hai!

M: aur mujhe laga tha bun khaane kisi cheez hoti hai waise fayda kya hai is bun ka? Aadhe se zada baal khule hue hai

K: very funny

A girl woh was passing from nearby heard them

Girl: purane zamane ka uncle!

She commented and kalyani heard it. She went and put her leg out a bit as the girl passed her she got tripped due to kalyani's leg and kissed the floor.

K: hey listen Miss modern! Bhul ke bhi mere dost ko kucch mat kehna warna agli baar ye muh hi nhi bachega kehne ke liye!

And kalyani sat in the jeep and they drove off!

M: kalyani ye gunda gardi kabse start kardi tumne huh?

K: koi bhi tumhare baare mei bakwas kahega toh i won't take it!

M: toh kya puri duniya se ladti firogi?

K: Malhar!

M: so ab tumhe tok bhi nhi sakta kya?

K: tok sakte ho but valid points par!

Malhar sighed as arguing with her has no end to it!

Soon they reached the movie Hall and checked in as they already booked there tickets!

Kalyani enjoyed the movie as it was of her favourite actor, Siddharth Malhotra's movie

As they came out of the movie Hall! Kalyani was continuously blabbering about how good the movie was but he had something else in mind, he held her wrist and pulled her away from the crowd!

K: kya hua Malhar?

M: yeh toh tum mujhe batao ki aakhir hua kya hai? Mujhe ladki se milne ke bahane kabhi dinner pe leke jaati ho, kabhi shopping mall aur kabhi movie but end result kya hota hai koi ya toh ladki ki tabyat kharaab hojati hai end moment pe, ya ladki ko kucch aur kaam aajata hai ya fir ladki ko raaste mei hi chot lag jaati hai..

He asked not understanding what exactly is going in her mind.

M: ab yeh confused look mat do! Mujhe acche se pata hai ki tumne koi ladki nhi dhundi hai mereliye! Tum sirf drama kar rahi ho! Mai janta hu ki tum mujhe kisi aur ke saath share nhi karna chahti par kalyani zindagi bhar toh ham saath nhi reh sakte na! Hame kisi hamsafar ki zarurat padegi..

K: uhh.. Malhar us park mei chale!

She said pointing to the one which was a actors the road!

M: hmm..

She sighed in relief as he almost caught her but then for how long she will just hide and pretend! She needed to be be brave enough to tell him straight about her feelings irrespective of his answer which she already know will be a clear no.

They waked in the park..

K: uhh malhar mujhe tumse kucch kehna hai..

She said after the utter silent walk of 5 minutes!

M: hmm bolo!

He said and she stopped on her tracks, making him stop too.

She then stood across him facing her.

K: pehle wada karo ki mer baat sunkar tum hamari dosti nhi todoge!

M: of course not kalyani! Bolo! Mujhe janna hai aakhir tumhare dimaag mei kya khichdi pak rahi hai!

K: uhh malhar woh i.. Love...you

M: haa toh kalyani i also love you after all pyar dosti hi toh hai!

K: nahi malhar us way mei nhi! As a life partner I love you!

M: what? Dimaag kharaab ho gaya hai tumhara? Tumare dimaag mei ye baatein aayi kaha se kalyani?

K: Malhar har ladki chahti hai ki uske life partner mei wo saari khubiyaa ho jo wo expect karti hai aur mere angle se tum perfect ho!

M: mujhe kucch nhi sunaa kalyani! Chalo mai tumhe ghar drop kar deta hu

He walked away and again got teary eyed as she followed him!

As they reached she took one last glance at him and he was boiling with anger! She went away and cried in her room though this time she was prepared for the rejection but it still hurts!

On the other hand he went to his room and started thinking of her every move from a different angle! Before it was affection he thought but now that love thing has just spoiled it all! Making him feel disgust of himself!

M: woh aisa soch bhi kaise sakti hai..

He said.

Is this the end of a beautiful friendship?
