Part 2

Sarthak fed bhangwali thandai to Kalyani and Malhar. It was all in good fun. He wanted them to make peace and love instead of the color and water war they were having. Anupriya thought it was not a good idea but Sarthak went ahead with it anyways. Kalyani was sitting in a quiet corner of Ahilya Nivas. She was looking at something and giggling. Malhar found her sitting alone and sneaked behind her. Both were under the influence of bhang.

M: Kalyani, tum yahan kya kar kar rahi ho?

K: Malharji jaldi baith jaaiye zameen gol gol hil rahi hai aap gir jaayenge. Aap gir jaayenge to aapko ooo hogi.

She made a pout face. He sat beside her and made a pout face too.

M: Ooo?

She nodded. She turned away from him and was doing something on her phone. He did not like it.

M: Kalyani tum phone ke saath kya kar rahi ho? Main tumhaare paas hoon toh mere saath kuch karo na.

K: Kya karoon?

Malhar shrugs his shoulder.

M: Kya kar rahi ho phone par?

K: Peeccha kar rahi hoon, jaise aap criminal ka karte hain na waise.

M: Kiska peeccha kar rahi ho?

K: Siddharth Malhotra ka. Aapko pata hai main uska har jagah peeccha{follow} karti hoon. FB par, Twitter par, insta par sab jagah.

M: Kyun? Wo koi criminal hai kya?

K: Haan criminal hai wo.

M: Kya kiya hai usne?

K: He stole my heart.

Malhar expressed anger and jealousy. Kalyani cutely smiled at him but he did not melt.

K: Malhar ji ek selfie lete hain?

M: Nahi.

K: Malhar ji pleash.

M: Rk nahi do lete hain. Tum apni aur Pillu ki kitni shelfie leti ho par mujhe kabhi nahi poochhti. Mujhe bura lagta hai, meri bhi photo honi chahiye na tumhaare phone mein.

They look at the camera and take pout selfie and another one facing each other. Kalyani was swiping through the gallery on her phone. Malhar rested his chin on her shoulder. He too saw the pics.

M: Ye kya hai?

K: Malhar ji kya nahi kaun. Yehi toh hai Siddharth Malhotra.

M: Iske paas paise nahi hai kya?

K: Hmm?

M: Shirt kyun nahi pehenta? Sari aisi addha nangu photo kyun khichwata hai?

K: Malhar ji aap bhi na kitne cute hain. Iske paas bahut paisa hai lekin uss se bhi zyada achi body hai. Isshi liye toh dkhata hai.

M: Body? Ishko body bolte hain? Main dikhata hoon tumhe body.

Malhar stood up and tore his shirt open. The buttons flew here and there one hit Kalyani on her forehead too. She was shocked. Her mouth formed a perfect o' and eyes were as big as the head lights of Aao Saheb's ambassador car. Malhar was proud of his body.

M: Kya hua? Jhatka laga meri body dekh kae?

K: Nahi body dekh kar nahi lekin Malhar ji aapne apni shirt phaad di. Kal mujhe nahi daanta. Ok?

Malhar showed an ok sign. Kalyani saw some girls looking at Malhar. She got jealous.

K: Band karo. Band karo Malhar ji apni shirt ko band karo.

M: Kyun kya hua? Dekho mujhe aur dekhne do mujhe uss Siddharth Malhotra ko bhi toh dekhte hain.

K: Malhar ji bola na band karo toh band karo.

M: Tum bhi band karo band karo usko dekhna aur peeccha karna band karo.

He too was jealous of Siddharth Malhotra. Kalyani wrapped him with her dupatta.

M: Kya hua Kalyani? Dekhne do na un logon ko mujhe.

K: Nahi. No.

M: Kyun? Usko toh sab dekhte hain meri body uss se acchi hai.

K: Usko sab dekh sakte hain aapko nahi.

M: Kyun?

K: Kyun ki wo sabka hai, aur aap...

M: Aur main?

K: Sirf mere. Aapko dekhne ka mera shaadi siddh adhikaar hai.

M: Wo kya hota hai?

K: Malhar ji aap bhi na kiss {pouts} again zamaane ke hain. Janam siddh adhikaar hota hai na jo janam se milta hai wasie hi shaadi siddh adhikaar jo shadi se milta hai.

M: Kalyani tum kitni smart ho!

K: Lekin aap ekdum biddhu hain.

M: Kyun?

K: Aapko kuch nahi pata.

M: Kya nahi pata?

K: Shaadi ke baad pati patni kya karte hain, wo aapko nahi pata.

M: Kya karte hain?

K: Shaadi ke baad pati patni ba ba {ghoomne} jaate hain, dinner karne jaate hain, picture dekhne jaate hain lekin hum aisa kuch nahi karte. Aap mere saath husband wife jaisa kyun nahi karte?

Malhar sees Kalyani sad and he too feels sad. They both sit with their heads together. Suddenly both their eyes shone.

K & M: IDEA!!!

K: Pehle aap.

M: Pehle tum.

K: Nahi Malharji pehle aap.

M: Ok dono saath mein bolte hain. Husband wife same same hote hain.

K & M: Abhi ghoomne chalen?

They both hi-five but miss it. Malahr gets up and puts his hand forth for Kalyani. She takes it and he pulls her up. He applied too much force and her lips almost touched his. They shared a momentary eye lock. He hooked their arms.

K: Tch Malhar ji aapki Ferrari { his jeep} toh chal hi nahi rahi.

How would it? He had not keyed it in. He was just steering the wheel. Kalyani banged on the hood of the jeep.

K: Dabba!

M: Kalyani, ab hum kaise jaayenge?

K: Malhar ji, why fear when Dhanno is here. Hum meri Dhanno par jaayenge.

They went to get her cycle. No one saw they roam around the front yard. Everyone had played holi and gone back to their homes.

K: Malhar ji baithiye, hum chalte hain.

Kalyani sat on the cycle seat and told him to sit behind her on the carrier. Malhar looked at her and shook his head.

M: No main chalaoonga. Tum peeche baitho.

K: Malhar ji ye meri Dhanno hai toh main hi chalaoongi. Aapko baithna hai toh baitho nahi toh main akeli chali jaaoongi.

She pedaled to warn him. He quickly sat behind her.

K: Malhar ji mujhe pakad lijiye. Aap gir gaye toh?

Malhar wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her back. Kalyani kept on pedaling. Malhar's smile reached his eyes. She too was very happy. The journey was giving them more joy than when they would reach their destination.

Inside the house Aao Saheb, Rao Saheb, Anupriya had changed. Moksh was happily playing in his great grand mothers' lap. Nal and Goda were having a hard time trying to control their bhangofied parents.

AS: Nal, Goda rehne do inn dono ko. Jao tum dono nahakar kapde badal lo phir khana khaate hain.

S: Accha Aao Saheb, ab main chalta hoon. Aap sab ke saath bahut maza aaya.

AS: Arre aise kaise? Aaj tyohar ke din aap apne ghar par akele rahenge. Humaare saath dophahar ka khana khakar jaaiye. Kalyani aur Malhar... Arre ye dono hain kaha? Anupriya kahan hain ye dono.

A: Pata nahi Aao Saheb maine toh kabse unhe nahi dekha jabse...

AS: Jabse? Kabse?

A tensed Anupriya looked at Sarthak but he just smiled calmly. She gave him kind of what have you done look.

A: Aao Saheb main unhe dekhkar aati hoon.

S: Chaliye main bhi chalta hoon.

A: Sarthak ji aapne accha nahi kiya Malhar aur Kalyani ke saath. Pata nahi kaha honge dono, kiss haal mein honge dono.

S: Aap itni chinta kyun kar rahi hai? Itni chinta karengi toh wrinkles aa jayenge.

A: Aapko mazak soojh raha hai. Kahan hain ye dono.

Sarthak tapped on her shoulder and pointed towards the parking spot. Kalyani was busy pedaling, Malhar was hugging her and the cycle was going nowhere as it was on the stand. Anupriya let out a little girly laugh. Sarthak felt something on seeing Anupriya laugh. They came to Kalyani and Malhar.

A: Kalyani tum dono yahan kya kar rahe ho?

S: Anupriya ji aap bhi na kaisa sawal kar rahi hain. Dono ghoomne jaa rahe hain. Hai na?

K: Nahi hum dono ghoomne na jaa rahe. Main malharji ko ghumaane le ja rahi hoon, wo toh kabhi mujhe nahi leke jaate lekin main unko leke jaa rahi hoon. Kaka daaton inko.

S: Malhar, ye kya sun raha hoon main? Tum Kalyani ko ghoomne nahi le jaate. Bad boy.

K: Very bad boy.

A: Sarthak ji bas kjiye. Hum inn dono ko andar lekar chalte hain.

S: HUM?

A: Haan toh aur koi hai kya humaaare siva.

Sarthak liked the sound of Hum and Humaare. Anupriya did not get why he was so happy. Sarthak and Anupriya helped Malhar and Kalyani respectively to get to their bedroom. They laid the two on their bed and closed the door behind them.

A few hours later,

M: Raat ho gayi? Itni jaldi raat kaise ho gayi? Oh mera sar. Ye haath? Ye haath kiska hai?

Malhar moved the hand covering his eyes. He saw Kalyani peacefully resting on his chest. Her face was too close to his. In an attempt to get up and make sure not to disturb her, he lifted his head a little and smack! His lips were on hers. It was the first time for him he blinked not knowing what to do next. He quickly backed his head and pretended to still be asleep. She opened her eyes and they popped. She quickly moved away from him fearing his reaction if he found her so close to him. She saw her dupatta wrapped around him and tried to gently pull it away. He pretended to just have woken. She was holding her dupatta and staring at him. He looked down and saw his shirt open and the buttons torn. He looked at her.

K: Maine kuch nahi kiya. Malhar ji mujhe sach mein nahi pata aapki shirt kaise phati.

M: Kuch kaha maine?

Her dupatta was tangled around him and she was holding one end.

M: Dushasan ho?

K: Hain? Kaun Dushasan?

Malhar shook his head and went to freshen up. Kalyani's head was also feeling heavy. She could not remember anything just that she had had a color and water war with Malhar. Malhar was in the washroom. He washed himself and looked in the mirror. His head was feeling heavy too. He did not remember anything just the way they had been sleeping and the kiss. KISS?

M: Malhar, over react mat kar. Wo kiss nahi tha, tune use kiss nahi kiya. Wo bas aise tha jaise do gadiyon ka bumper jab aapas mein takrata hai bad jaise fist bump hota hai waise lip bump that kiss nahi.

He came back to the room and Kalyani too had changed. She was standing in front of the dresser. Her focus was on her lips. She touched them as if trying to feel them. She did not understand but they felt different. She thought they were chapped or something else so she took some Vaseline jelly on her finger and dabbed it on her lips. She was taking too much care of them touching them too many times. Every time Malhar saw her touch her lips he was reminded of the Lip Bump. He could not tell her nor could he forget it and ended up scolding her.

M: Stop it, Kalyani! Kya baar baar apne hoton ko cchoo rahi ho?

K: Inhe kya problem hai main apne lips ko cchoo rahi hoon. Gussa toh aise ho rahe hain jaise maine inke lips ko cchua.

Malhar and Kalyani came out of their room. Sarthak was on Aao Saheb's side and so was Pillu so they went there. She took Pillu from Aao Saheb and made she air kissed him. Malhar's focus again went on her lips. He once again remembered the Lip Bump.

M: Kalyani!

K: Kya hua Malhar ji?

K: Wo tumne gujiya banayi thi wo do na Aapa ko aur sab ko.

RS: Haan Kalyani beta gujiya toh tumhe khilaane padenge. Til gud toh tumne khilya nahi.

RS complained and Kalyani controlled her laugh and looked at Malhar who was clearly embarrassed.

G: Mai, mujhe ye kahawat poori karne mein help kjiyena.

Goda was playing the word game on her mobile.

A: Kaunsi kahavat?

G: Jiska kaam usi ko saajhe...

K: Aur kare toh BUDDHU baaje.

Kalyani stressed on BUDDHU'. Goda thanked her and left. Sarthak and Rao Saheb asked for gujiya so Kalyani went to the kitchen to get them. She had controlled her laugh for too long and burst out laughing. Suddenly a strong hand grabbed her upper arm.

M: Bahut hansi aa rahi hai?

Kalyani stopped laughing immediately. Malhar felt bad and remembered the time he had told her to ask for his permission to laugh. He was ashamed of his behavior on that day.

K: Malharji main aapse kuch maangu?

M: Kya?

K: Aap par hanse ki permission.

He could not give an answer so she burst out laughing. He took a gujiya and stuffed it in her mouth. He smiled on his way back to the hall.
