Ammu passes away.
TWO WEEKS LATER
Parminder comes to Vrinda and is concerned about how she has kept quiet for the past two weeks. Parminder tells her that the whole family has decided that after Raj's behaviour, she will not go home with Raj. Vrinda is numb. Parminder asks her why Raj is behaving like this even after Vrinda told him about her and Yug on the first day. Vrinda refuses to talk and Parminder leaves frustrated.
Karanveer is with the men of the family who offer their condolences for Ammu. Karanveer thanks them for performing Ammu's last rites with so much love despite Raj's behaviour. But he promises that Vrinda will stay as the bahu of their house with dignity and will never lose that right.
Kuldeep apologises for bringing the matter up at a time like this but says that the family has decided that Vrinda will not go with Raj. He will send them the divorce papers and asks Karanveer to ensure Raj signs them quietly as they don't wish for both families to be maligned. DB resignedly says that his family have already taken all the insult they can bear and hopes that Raj will now be happy with Vrinda. Yug leaves the room and bumps in to Raj who has heard everything and walks away with tears in his eyes.
Yug goes looking for Vrinda and tells her that it's not right how Raj has become the villain in front of everyone. He has lost everything in his efforts to unite them but despite that he has no complaints against him or Vrinda. Vrinda weeps as she says that she knows Raj and he will never complain despite the fact that everything is her mistake.
She says that she shouldn't have told Raj about her love on the first night, but because of her selfishness she killed Ammu [theoretically]. She berates herself for putting Raj in this position and asks who will look after him now – Ammu is gone, Babbli will get married after a few days and even Bhai and Bhabhi are upset with him. She wonders how Raj will look after himself.
As Vrinda talks about Raj, Yug watches her with a heartbroken expression and walks backwards as TSPLS sad version plays. He leaves just as Vrinda breaks down.
Yug returns home and sad song plays in the background as the camera pans on Yug, Vrinda and Raj with both Raj and Yug remembering their good times with Vrinda. Yug recalls Vrinda's depressed words about Raj as he heads towards his room and smashes his mirror with his fist. He falls to the ground and weeps with Both Raj and Vrinda crying as well.
Aww man – why do I always get the sad episodes?!!!!😭
Must watch scene(s) – from the point where Yug goes to talk to Vrinda and she can only think about Raj. Amazing acting by Kunal – his expressions were heartbraking
