Both of them exposed each others heinous plans to destroy kanak. Meera said Akshay was the mastermind of this game. So if they are arresting her then they should first arrest Akshay. Now he wants to show himself as hero and her as villain. He was the one who wanted to ruin her professional and personal life by sending her to jail.
