Today's episode was all about love.
The kind that doesn't melt your heart, but the kind that actually sears through, singeing, leaving an imprint on your heart not to be easily erased. What lay in Uma's passion-filled eyes and Kanak's struck, intense ones - was reflected in how Uma couldn't stop baring his heart to her, and how Kanak could do nothing, but stand and cry, and feel every word of his boring into her skin.
The very principles he so closely held to his being all these years of his existence of -doing the right thing no matter how hard it was, of not being dishonest in his relationships went squarely out of the window when it came to losing the one person he loved like mad in this whole wide universe!
On Kanak's part, the things she held so close to her being - acting with dignity, doing the right thing no matter how hard it was, trying to assemble the pieces of her self-respect shattered by the very man she loved, trying to move on and do what she should've done long ago all of it fell apart when she heard Uma literally carve his heart out for her. "I love you Kanak, I REALLY LOVE YOU!
Their worlds were so far apart, given their circumstances and yet, in that moment, there was nothing and there was no one but them.
Everything around ceased to exist.
Sometimes it's not so easy doing the right thing.
But sometimes doing what is not seemingly right is the right thing.
They hugged, felt each other's presence and touch like it was the last straw of hope they'd held on to.
I usually discuss everything in detail but today I just cant seem to get this out of my head. I felt like crying, my heart going out to them, happy but also tragically sad, because it didn't have to be this way.
Uma now seems to have got the push to voice out the truth and tell everybody why he did what he did. Kanak still loves Uma (we all knew that of course), but feels it will be grossly unfair to move forward with Akshay, considering a piece of her is tied to Uma.
And how can it not?
They are dawn and dusk, Suraj and Sandhya, Diya and Bati, day and night.
Part of the same story...incomplete without each other...bound to be together.
There is no other way out, there is just no other way out.
