This is disgraceful! TSMSP was supposed to be a sequel to DAB. Which means, the essence of DAB was to be retained even in this new story line. Since the track started, I have been getting the creeps, thinking of Uma's change and how he is moving at a breakneck speed, so much so, that he can't bother to pause and look back at what he's leaving behind or the hurt he is causing, the relationship he is breaking.

I hate to say this - but at this rate, Kanum separation (at least for some time) is imminent. But a LEAP? If these lovebirds are going to be separated for two whole years, then it OBVIOUSLY means Uma has decided to choose Meera over Kanak. Why else will he be separated from his love interest for this whole while, when they were talking of a marriage in 10 days from now?!

I hope these are just rumors. I will stop watching this shitty show if that happens. What's the difference between TSMSP and other love stories aired on SP and elsewhere then, if this crap marriage-breakup-divorce-remarriage thing is to continue?

We LOVED DAB because even if Suraj and Sandhya had their issues, most of these issues were fought by them as a TEAM. Not alone, independent of each other. On opposing sides of the fence. If they move ahead with the leap (with Uma taking this huge risk), then I'll know he is just as useless as all other male leads on Indian TV.

Also, I'm sick of women fighting for the love of their men. Ridiculous. So sexist. Why don't we have a man who will walk the ends of the earth for a woman? Why can't we portray a woman who plenty of men are dying to be with, but the hero needs to fight his way through all the distractions and save his love? Why is the onus always on women?

Are men the only beings living on this planet?
