5/12 Episode Discussion!!

Me is back with another post. Apologies for being late.

To make mistake is human, but to acknowledge ones errors and to repent is what differentiates between different individuals... Aditya is standing square in the middle, slapped out of his wits due to his wrong doings yet he stands without a shred of regret or conscience... whereas in contrast Uma stands apologizing to Payal for he committed sin when he got her married to a picture, he brought ruin on her, he promised to protect her and failed to do so and for that he needs to be punished, he asks Payal to slap him... Payal is stunned by his confession, she refuses to do so... but Uma slaps himself nonetheless, and Payal stops him, clearing her conscience, that she always blamed him, but it was he who looked after her like a big brother, and they hug - what Uma did to Payal is a kind of unforgivable mistake, but it's that realization which hit him that yes, he shouldn't have married a girl without her consent... finally in the darkest of night comes the crack of light... he knows what he has done and he is sorry for whatever he has done.

Finally a moment of KanUm as a couple, as two people living together, battling the same demons in their respective ways... the communication is important between two people, the feelings be it bitter or sweet, sentimental or indifferent - Kanak comes to the room, at the end of a chaotic day.. they share the feats they have achieved by feeding Payal and massi ... Kanak has objections and she wants to ask but Uma says that she needs to eat first, he asks her to sit down - it's for the first time that they are normal, they share a plate of food in their room, Uma feeds her with his hand and she cries..Uma confesses that he is apologetic for he couldn't protect her from Aditya, Kanak assures him that whatever he did in the hotel was enough, he trusted her in such dire situation... she tries to change the tone of their conversation, lighten up the conversation and his mood, she lets slip that she likes him sour faced daku Singh ... she asks him to eat but he refuses with a heavy heart, for he is still grasping with everything that has transpired right in front of his nose... he has made mistakes, errors and have shelter to a criminal, a person who sold off women and gambled.. Kanak his wife and Payal his sister were in such circumstances and he couldn't stop it in the first place, and whatever has been done is traumatic.
It was lovely seeing KanUm so normal.

Lovely sum up Blue. And nice that you have vomited the unwanted details of the evil dueo. Yes it is in that little moments that the partner is required to cheer you up and to drag you out of the sorrow when you succumb to circumstances which were not in your control.

Awesome Blue! The best part of Kanum conversation was nobody was listening to their talks from the window or the door!! This scene was long over due!! But I am glad it finally came and ours leads as usual were just fantastic as usual!!

That was definitely the high point of KanUm conversation that there was no third party spying on their moments... it was just KanUm together in their shared food, conversation and silence.
It was today that they talked about the hotel room, that night they just shoved it under the blanket and slept restless, but today they walked in that room, their haven together, no hesitations from either side.

I loved it more for none of the two tried to wipe the tears from others eyes. They gave space for the other to shed out the grief so that they empty their souls of that impending sorrow and get ready for the new challenges.

I loved the change in Uma who forgot all about the time and venue for dinner and had brought a plate for Kanak and fed her.

I just loved how Uma kept watching Ved's gestures and acknowledge with a peaceful mind. Had he been the earlier Uma, he would have berated Bed for going near Payal but this Uma had the satisfaction on his face while watching that pair.

For me the other details didn't matter today, my total focus was on KanUm being normal today. Like she walked in and told that she fed Payal and put her to sleep- they were sharing details of what they had done. How everything has impacted everyone in the house.
Yes it's a point that none of them moved forward to console or wipe the tears but let it flow and get it done for once and for all, Kanak did try to change the somber mood, but space was given to each of them.
Off lately everything that was routine and schedule has gone up in smoke... there is no routinely home stuff shown anymore it was each plotting and planning.. and it's times like these which shows that even the rigid of trees bend to the storms. Food was served in there in their room, and they ate it alone - it would have been really awkward had just shown the next day... they gave a proper closure to a tumultuous day.
Uma is changing.

Yesterday's hug and vansh ka popat and today's kanum scene were the highlight for me...
M not satisfied yet but m happy

Wasn't expecting uma to change itni jaldi wrt payal though but m glad he realised and apologized
Him slapping himself :( though I thought kanak will stop him But payal did... Uma payal hug was a surprise... Their bond is now like a brother and sister
Umas apology to kanak for not protecting her as a husband was nice but I don't think he is ever apologizing for marrying her... And I don't mind it.

The kanum scene u described it so nicely... Can we get one fun banter pls

Great post as usual Blues. I was busy so didn't comment nor looked for you during week end. But always miss you whenever you don't post.

Beautiful analysis Blue It wasa heart touching episode after seeing lot of drama.Iam glad that u have omitted the massisa part in ur analysis becos nowdays its really irritating to see her winning over kanak at last minute but we all know dharam always win at the end so we should wait for it patiently to see that.I felt bad seeing uma punishing himself for ruining payal life but he has commited a sin so he should regret for it as u said adithyadoes not have any remorse for his wrongdoings but uma as soon as he realizes his mistakes he will apologize he will regret for his mistake he is not an egoistic person he is always ready to accept his mistakes and do prayachit for it. Uma himself started to break his own rules which he thought it is as his life.He principle is to never touch a Parayi Sthri but today he hugged payal with brotherly love to show her that he is always with her to protect her as her brother.Kanak tries to convince vansh highlighting the beautiful good qualities of uma she tries to explain him that she is life and soul for uma and uma is life for her but i guess vansh is not yet convinced he is stuck up.But Ved is amature enough and he realized that his behna is grown up and she can take her life decision after seeing the love they have on each other.Then comes the most awaited lovely beautiful moments of kanum what a lovely moments between sharing their love concern trust on each other..Uma today broke another rule for kanak they were eating in their bedroom earlier uma did not allowed her to eat in bedroom. Uma was totally depressed and upset that he coudnt protect his wife in his own house he was apologising and regretting for failing in his pati dharam.Kanum was enjoying their moments first time they where conversing with each other they were sharing an emotional moments between them.Uma was feeding her with love and care he is feeling for her for undergoing the trauma she faced because of his blind love on his brother. kanum was sharing their food from same the same plate taht shows they are going sahre their rest of the lives with each other.It was intersting to see both of them was having their own space to express their feelings. Now its clear that uma "s redemption is on track he will redeem himself soon uma as resposible brother of payal again took a decision for payal to remarry her to Ved but this time with consent of payal he will soon realize that each woman has right to take her life decision.Umashankar mindset is broadening a little and he is getting himself into progressive thinking.
