I loved today's episode and ur analysis.

One more layer of Uma been shown to us and I am mesmerized by his character.

Uma is battling between two dharma. Dharma against his guru Vs Dharma against his sister.

Which is greater. Uma till now didn't realize that it is his dharm to protect his sister.

I am sure Kanak will make him realise that in Krishna natak with little guidance from Bhabho.

Excited to watch the track..

Coming to Massisa when she is going to realize that one should not play with fire.

It won't know the difference between apna and paraya.

It will treat every one same so Saras fell in to the trap. Why placing the trap initially and then crying. She won't know that dharma...

I wish she goes back and read more dharma books so she can understand it properly.

That broken side of Uma was indeed mesmerizing, touching and an insight into his own helplessness.
Uma is battling between two promises, one that BBG has announced and other promise which he repeats every year in rakhi. - today Uma was that brother who is unable to break through his own mind, his limits just like the way he burnt Sumans admit card. But then he became The super brother who navigated through the traffic jam like need for speed. I believe the brother who would save Saras would come out tooo... he just need his perspective channeled by Kanak. Together they both will save Saras.

Let's see how far does the lesson impact Massi. She lamented that it was her fault but does she really get the point that "one who digs graves for other fall into it themselves the gravity of the punishment, life inprisonment being a sevika is not okay for anyone - be it Kanak or Saras. The whole idea is regressive and stupid.

You have described Uma's plight aptly the pressure he faces and his inability to share.
He is stuck stubborn with his dharm, but today that was held only by hurt, pain and sheer will power. This shows the strength of his character. He breaks apart but remains stuck to that place. He wants to desperately fulfill his rakhi promise to Saras but with this frame of mind he can't think of anything, that's when Kanak comes into play, she becomes the eyes for her blind husband.

May be he consider him as a Friend I have seen so many times talking to shivji's Idol before rambha test as well. That's an interesting idea you got there.

I don't know if he is afraid or not... but Uma is Shivji's bhakt, Shivji's influence on his life has been more than evident. Uma shares his happiness and his concerns with Shivji only.
It's not that Shivji would be angry if his follower asked him "kyun he would rather show him the way out of the mess, the pain he is suffering. Shivji has always been there for Uma and Kanak, it's in front of him Kanak gets to know the existence of his heart and reminds him of his rakhi promise. By means of Kanak Shivji has sent light for Uma.

Just caught up with the episode, it was heart wrenching one! Avinesh is pure brilliance. The pain he had for sister was hard to watch. I kind of liked it, how he man'ed up the moment Kanak was there, I was hoping him not to break down in front of K, as this was very realistic. Dharn is in his blood and bones, the day he breaks down in front of Kanak will be turning point in his life and it's going to something big! God wat I'm expecting I have no idea!! Can't think like you do...yet again through your analysis you proved how well you can see through the current situation. Beautiful girl!!!
I really hope from this track he will start to realise that human relations and emotions are more important than Dharam. It going to be interesting to watch on how Kanak will show him the lead.

It's so clear, that DIL will always be a DIL. World is changing but at a snail speed. Sigh!!!!!
