I really love this idea of exploring each character about particular attributes.

I loved the things you pointed out about Uma honesty.

to read your views on Kanak's honesty.

I think she is honest when she confessed her truth to Uma before signing KMB papers.

Kanak was honest when she got arrested Uma released, she has always been honest with Maasa too, also during redemption for doing penance for mixing alcohol in jalebis to feed uma!

kanak is very honest in keeping relations.eventhough she knows abt true colour of maasisa n paulomi she always wants family to be united,In arrest matter she honestly accepts both of them done mistake.

Kanak has always been honest in her confessions. She relentlessly proved her honesty when Uma was nabbed, abt the KMB, & also in not revealing the true colors of Massisa in front of Uma. She is an ideal DIL. Her characterisation which in my opinion I feel is well-written if compared with Sandhya. Kanak is deeply tradional as well as modern in her outlook. I feel that this is why the productn house did not continue from the season 1 & took a hiatus of 1 yr. It looks like they were minutely setting the storyline over the year & were looking for the actors for the portrayal of these characters. This show has a well planned script.

Character of Kanak has indeed been well written, Uma is however too sketchy, who is there like that these days, called regressive n backward in todays times
