When I was watching Kerala episodes where Uma dries Kanak hair using the coal dhoop

I remembered times when I used sambrani dhoop ( benzoin resin) for drying hair in the same process.

Anything specific you remembered?

We use sambrani dhoop for infants to dry their hair.(we used to close their eyes while using dhoop)

We even use dhoop in home for special Pooja.

I know about sambrani dhoop ( benzoin resin) but never had one.

But I remembered the times when we used to go to our grand ma and massisa's place to celebrate the festivals while I looked at Uma's house and their religious rituals during any religious events.

It will be so much fun helping them in preparations.

One more thing I remembered is Shivrathri Celebrations.

The mela, We used to go to Mela to buy things and have rides and used to have lot of masthi.
