Sorry guys!
I am thinking all legal ways now as it mentioned in TSMSP

How come Uma suits for IPC 498a?

I read the explanation online as below:

IPC 498 A : Matrimonial Cruelty (non bailable and non compoundable offence)

He need to be proved innocent to be released.
Explanation for the purpose of this section, "cruelty" means:
(a) any wilful conduct which is of such a nature as is likely to drive the woman to commit suicide
or to cause grave injury or danger to life, limb or health (whether mental or physical) of the woman; or
(b) harassment of the woman where such harassment is with a view to coercing her or any person related to her to meet any unlawful demands for any property or valuable security or is on account of failure by her or any person related to her to meet such demand.

Kanak's brainless brothers keep saying she was not allowed to meet her family post marriage and that Uma kept her under house arrest, but they conveniently forget that Kanak had come back home 5 days after marriage and told lies to her family that she married a guy of her own choice and left at her own will. Uma wasn't there to put a gun to her head to take her home or she was not forced in anyway to to go back Ladanu, but she lied to her entire family and went back to Uma willingly.

Also why didn't Kanak clarify that it was her own decision not to involve her family and was never prohibited by Uma or his family from meeting her family on the contrary at many occasions Uma and his family wanted her to call and meet her family.

All 3 siblings are brainless and selfish 😡
