25/08 Episode Discussion!!

Hey there all the lovely people!!
Me is back with a heavy heart. Apologies for a lame post, I just couldn't understand anything today.



There is a saying that "if one Lets go, they never actually held on it properly" - Uma is following this piece of advise with all might.
Uma comes to hanuman gali, and introduces himself to everyone as Kanak's husband and Rathis SIL, everyone is impressed by his good looks and grace, daisa asks the reason of his radiance, he says it's all due to the people who one loves, when the beloved is away the radiance also falters and if the beloved is near then radiance is brightened up. Kanak does the pooja, and dances with Uma -- today also Kanak was forced to do something against her will, that also with Rathis present, its a simple thing that shit happens and sometimes one needs to do it anyway.
Rathis are pretty annoyed, even Bhabho states that she made the right decision and Uma by coming here today has proved her right. -- seems like Uma came all by himself to break Kanak's teej fast.
Kanak tells him that she doesn't want to continue this relationship - crips clear and understandable to even a dumb blind person. But Uma looks at her lips and says that your lips are dry, Kanak missed breakfast one day and she couldn't go hungry but today she fasted for him. He knows her despite whatever she says. He asks her to eat herself if she doesn't want eat by his hand. Kanak and Uma walk back to Rathi home, Kanak again clearly states that she doesn't want to continue any relationship with him, and he shouldn't ever come back here again. Uma very confident of himself says you have lived with me and if my 'vishwas' come on anything I won't let it go --- that was not his vishwas/belief but zidd/stubbornness. Dear Uma words like 'nahi' 'no' 'naa' all are about negative, they in no language mean yes, Kanak is screaming pleading and requesting you to break up, she has said 'NO'. Uma could see her dry lips which happened due to the fast, he couldn't sense the dilemma she is in. She is refusing him clearly and yet he cannot hear the word 'no' he is unable to take rejection and any word that is 'no' his mind doesn't process it. He is still adamant of coming back in the morning to take Kanak back. --- here is where Uma is all wrong, his refusal to accept rejection, his refusal to accept/consider Kanak's choice/decision, his refusal to give Kanak and Rathis time to comprehend or even think about him and his relation with Kanak. He claims to 'prem' Kanak, she is the prasad to bhakt of Bhole Nath, she is the light to his lamp/life then why is he not able to wait for her, do tapasya for her, why can't he work to win Kanak and her family over. Even if she is the one destined for him, he could have given her time and space, but then he can only see the dry lips, but not the dryness of her soul, that is not ready to accept him Yet.

Indeed the episode was good, but there was a certain heavy feeling that came over me. And I couldn't get over it. My apologies for a lame post.

Kanak and Uma danced but it didn't clicked as much as it should have been. The dream of Uma dancing was way better than the original in front of everyone. That dance sequence wasn't even shot that well, their expressions weren't clear.

Uma didn't force her by feeding her was his only svaing grace today.

Vedansh and family have decided together, and they must have thought about it, because Uma despite being asked to leave isn't budging and is imposing himself on Kanak.
Uma's last line regarding 'I don't leave it' looked more like his ego speaking, which refuses to accept rejection.

Uma is like the Terminator or Energizer Bunny. His way is only one. He sees the contradiction of her words and actions, but not his own. What is the contradiction within that he misses? He says he is there because he is sure that they are meant to be. But, if they are meant to be then does he need to be there? If Bholenath intended them to unit then let Bholenath unit them. His staunch faith lacks faith. I also don't get why he let her return on her own when she left in Kerela, but here he is not letting go now. Similarly he was willing to burn or tyaag her. Was not their relationship ordained by god then? 😕

Kanak - doesn't want to wrong Uma. She really connected with his family. Has a bucket load of guilt for misleading them. But, Uma's adamancy is not leaving her or her family a lot of choice.

I kind of liked the episode after long time...

Uma's came by himself kind of irritating...

Uma not ready give Kanak time and space, is he scared if he leaves then this will end here but I thought he believes Shivji will unite them..

But why Kanak fasted (Cvs keep forgetting Jabeli), she gave one more reason

Rathis are doing what every family will do to protect the daughter

Can't blame them

He is having the idea which is a common misconception, that when a girl says something she means it the other way. She is saying no and he takes it as yes. He is contradicting her words with his assumptions.
When she ran away in Kerala, or even from the mandap, he waited for her to return... but now when he knows her actual address and family, he getting over anxious. What I cannot understand is he "hurry" on sanket he married her tthat day itself, then he is adamant on taking her back that time itself. When he knows that the family is refusing him, they are hesitant in trusting/accepting him.
Mom always says "thanda kar k khao, it will taste better" Uma should also calm down.
He jail trip he somehow has asked for it. Because he is not explaining anything just announcing that he will come to take her.

Kanak for a change wasn't confused today, she has warned him that he is forcing her family to do something against him. She calmly asked him...

and the ego factor..exactly..does his dharam allows ego for the man of the house then...its not like he cant do tyag..he could do it easily when he thought kanak would do rambha test..or when he left her after the liquor on jilebi incident..so why not now..why cant she do the tyag of leaving him..why cant he accept no for an answer..ok..atleast why cant he try to.makeup and do redemption like kanak asked for after jilebi incident...

Uma is still a complicated enigma... the more we try to get into his head more distressed we end up being.
Are they somehow justifying the jail trip by his this kind of adamant behavior.
He has always been ready to sacrifice, be it Kanak or himself when Kanak had ran away from Kerala.
It's just this idea that even if she is his soul mate, and then they are bound to end up together no matter what. That should be his belief rather than being the all knower yet knowing nothing.
This angle in his character has yet to explored and developed. And it's high time Uma started getting shades. He is going just in one direction.

I don't know why...After arrest situation..May be Uma will give a chance to Kanak to leave him.. but I guess just like last time..Kanak will decide to go with him since now she realizes that she has some feelings for him and his family...What say. 😉...

overall the episode was good. had evrything usual masala. And of course our hot and sexy Uma has returned for us as we were all missing him. so happy to see that.
