"Woh kehti hai suno Jana
Mohabbat moam ka ghar hai...
Tapish e badgumani kahi pighla na de isko
Mey Kehta hoon k jis dil mey, Zara bhi badgumani ho, waha Kuch aur ho to ho,
Mohabbat ho nahi sakti..."
Misunderstanding is one of the root cause of all chaos in the world. One says something, does something and something else it understood about it. That one spark of misunderstanding can lead to a fire, a fire which can burn the whole world down. It's okay to make mistakes but it takes greater effort/responsibility to own up to that mistake.
Nirpiya, Tu ne sharton pe pyaar kiya tou pyaar sharton par hi sahi" -- these verses from the BG describes perfectly what Uma is upto. Kanak screams and shouts at Uma to leave, as there relationship has ended with the deal of the shop. Uma requests her to read the paper, which she does and looses her cool and grabs his collar, threatening him to kill him, Uma asks her to behave he is her husband and she is losing her patience. Uma has taken fifty percent ownership in the shop, it's not exactly his way of doing things, but still if his love came with terms and conditions he is ready to do so. He asks her to look into his eyes and see for herself, is he capable of such crime. She looks at him first with annoyance and then a second later, they both are lost in each other's eyes, eyes that are windows to the soul, eyes that con the peace of mind, eyes that betray the deepest secrets of love, care and concern, even hatred, eyes rarely lie.
He is calm and composed but hurt nonetheless, he observes much but speaks less.. he goes with them to see the evidence of his crime... and indeed what he says is true to quite some extent, that half truth is worse than lies, they can blame him all they want till they find out the truth, because he is innocent. He walks out leaving the siblings to look further in to other clips from that day.
Kanak and Vedansh realize that that guy hiding behind the cupboard isn't Uma and the girl who did the deal is mishri... they are shocked, but Kanak is devastated that all this time she hated Uma for a crime he didn't commit, she did cheating, betrayed him all because of a misunderstanding, she is hurt at hurling insults at him. Kanak is guilty of committing fraud with Uma and his family, she is worse than ever-- was this the only reason that kept her from realizing she is affected by him, his presence. Is it that easy? Uma is a great guy but has his own setbacks, and Kanak has often made her opinions about him vocal, but today this revelation of his innocence has left her shattered. She wants to apologize to him for judging and sentencing him all due to a misunderstanding. Vansh stops her reminding her of what Uma did with her, he forcibly married her and she can't forgive him for that -- dude that's the last thought on her mind as of now. Ved gives great advice that it's better to clear the doubts and be done with whatever is to be said, as it's such thoughts which are kept unsaid which pierce through the peace mind and impact ones life. They go out and see Uma has gone. Vansh is pretty skeptical about Uma.
