We all know this show is fiction and fantasy

Diya aur Baati Sooraj and Sandhya are more real they are few things which is fiction but still both characters can work in real life not only reel to a larger extend

But when I look at Uma Kanak I don't get the feeling that even 1% chance this is work in reality

Just my opinion

Thoughts?

Somehow I am hopeful that they will see good things about each other now...
I think the Mahaepisode where in Kanak saved Umas maa and asked Shiv changed her perception in Umas mind.. Quite a lot things changed thereafter... His hifi with Shiva.. or asking Payal in patience test ... he is changing... when vansh came in hospital he asked her to accompany her... she walked ahead .. against rules... remember Suman expression...So he is changing..

N same way Kanak will have to notice few good things..in interview Rhea said she will start noticing it now.. remember she has said... character ka pakka, acha doctor, ladno me to apki vat hai... she could feel his hurt during discussion of his father..

I think Uma has some past... which will be revealed slowly.. why he is so dharam wala..

finally life is adjustment..no one is perfect.. the pair should compliment each other... Uma n Kanak are good individuals .. love their families... they will definitely go together...

Sneha, I think it is possible. Marriages bring a change in a person, sometimes not only good ones but bad ones too. Like Varsha said, we have been seeing tiny changes in behavior, in soch of both Uma and Kanak, and in a long run, it is definitely possible. It doesn't happen all of a sudden.

I know it's a fictional show...even in real life some relationship works some doesn't...weather it's love marriage or arranged... It differs person to person and circumstances. Every person has good side of themselves... It depends on you which side u like the most. Uma and Kanak are poles apart from each other...but there are so many qualities are similar...they will soon realize that . We just need to wait and watch the beautiful luv story... 😊

let me tell u my story..i am infact married to a person..who by gods grace is all normal...but his dad is just 70%uma..like the time for not eating..not even drinking water yaar..and the biggest creepiest thing..all these public talk about auspicious time for first night..i was like begging god to help.me stay away from him and not hear that all..well when i stayed at his house i had to follow his way of fasting and timings for food and all..though he knew i am not into it in my head...as soon as i got away..started living with my husband abroad..my god..relief..i am.out of the cage..and my FIL knws i dnt follow a single thing now..he doesnt appreciate it thinking i have my own choice for life eithr ..but i dnt care...and he too stopped caring now..i am not sure we are all ok actually..sometimes its not..but we learn to live with it...during the early days of marriage it was very difficult..i didnt see any meaning in these things..and i didnt understand why i should tolerare all this..but then i felt if it was for somedays and if that gives me some peace of mind..then why not..and my husband doesnt believe in those wierd ideas..and he is.totally ok with me too..then thats the bigger.picture...
so well what i think sooner or later.both uma and kanak will.learn to live with each others flaws and see the bigger picture..well my situation is not exactly the same.as tsmsp but still i thought of sharing..

See the first thing is Uma married her in force.
No woman can forgive that and these rules about proving a dutiful wife? Does that really happen in real life . What ever sacrifices you give it's difficult for them

I know people say opposites attract...and they do...I mean, something that is lacking in one person you may find it in your partner to complement you.
But in Kanak and Uma's case...it's not just a matter of remembering to put the cap back on the toothpaste...they are not just poles apart...they are from 2 different planets. 😆

Their case is especially complicated by their different religious perspectives. I think in real life it would not be a marriage that would work out.

I mean if I put myself in Kanak's shoes...I wouldn't last 3 days in that house. I'm too outspoken. And I just could not stand the illogical restrictions...that too placed mostly on the women of the house.

I agree with you

I am not an outspoken person but if some asks me to prove themselves I am a dutiful wife

I may run from there
