IMO, Kanak's anger is Uma still sees a woman as dependent on her male relatives, since he couldn't give her a husband ,he did the second best as giving a son to take care of her.

Payal has cunningly usurped moral rights over Shiv, as his Guru Ma and adopted Mom against his little heart's wishes.He would've jumped in joy if it was Kanak who was forming a lifelong bond.

Imo , for him Kanak will be his Dadusa's wife always and her struggle will be to do the right thing for him as his Bhabhisa or as an outsider.

Hmm.. Kanak could also come back to Uma for Shiv's sake as Payal & Mom's games get dirtier.

Now that's a thought!

But I doubt that would happen. When Uma came to Payal's family to get her married to Aditya's photo, he himself was not married at that time. I specifically remember him telling her family that Payal would live in his house as Aditya's wife. And if his brother is found to be dead...then she will live as Aditya's widow.

I doubt people like him who are religious extremists...would view widows kindly...let alone marry them.
