I read online that it's not okay to wear keys etc. in janeu yet they showed that Uma keeps his keys in the janeu. So I'm wondering whether it is or it isn't okay to do so.

Anybody knows about it?

I come from a Brahmin family and my grandfather always tied keys in his Janeu. I don't think it's wrong.

Thank you, I was wanting to confirm! By the way, why do people wear Janeu? Sport, I'm not of Hindu religion so don't know much, but I really enjoy getting to know about all different religions.
