It's a bad news for Saath Nibhana Saathiya fans as the show is all set to go off air next month. It is one of the longest running shows on STAR Plus and has ruled the TRP charts for many years
Saath Nibhana Saathiya, starring Devoleena Bhattacharjee in the lead role, premiered on the small screen in year 2010. It has enjoyed 7 glorious years among its numerous fans. But now it's time to bid goodbye!
Well yes, STAR Plus' one of the most successful show is set to go off-air next month (July).
This is not the first time that the news of the show going off-air has come, however, this time SpotboyE.com has found out from a close source to the serial that due to lack of interesting plots ahead and falling numbers, the makers have decided to put an end to it.
Not just this, we have also learnt that Saath Nibhana Saathiya will be replaced by another existing show on STAR Plus, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, which is currently scheduled in the afternoon slot.
Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, starring Rhea Sharma and Avinesh Rekhi in the lead, is a sequel of another popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum.Deepika Singh, who has just embraced motherhood, was the leading lady in Diya Aur Baati Hum while Anas Rashid played her love interest. The show was very popular and it made Deepika Singh a household name.
Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, which premiered on TV in April 2017, has failed to grab eyeballs as Diya Aur Baati Hum, which also aired in the afternoon slot. So, now the makers are planning to shift it in the evening slot to replace Saath Nibhana Saathiya.
SpotboyE.com has also heard that mostly the second season of Saath Nibhana Saathiya is in the pipeline. If all goes well, the makers might come out with Season 2.
