Hey there all the lovely people
Apologies for a weird post today. It's not exactly a review one. But do watch the episode. Kanak is like a house on fire. Brilliant performance going on.
One doesn't need to be perfect to be in a relationship because there is no such thing as being perfect. It's the trial the error the compassion the love the level of understanding both people create makes them a couple. They might be poles apart, they might not have anything in common but then also there is that one person who is piece of our missing self, the one who clicks no matter where we meet them, the one who completes the other. And without each other they remain unsolved like a puzzle. People are different from each other, they bond and become comfortable and compatible, it's like Rumi said "the lamps are different but the light is same.
US accepts Kanak no questions asked because it's the faith he has in God. He doesn't reflect any emotion be it of happiness or sadness,he is unaffected by anything, or so he says. He understands that Kanak and he come from different worlds and family, they have nothing in common, their union is meeting of east and west but no matter how different she is he would try to structure her in the form that he sees his life partner. That's where almost all of us go wrong, love and relationships are not based on what we want, how we imagine thing to turn out. It's a give and take pattern. The acceptance of other without any conditions is being selfless, and without being selfless no relationship can happen. I am not saying tolerate anything or stand nonsense, but it's an on going process of learning teaching and experiencing. .
Kanak on the other hand is having the fright of her life, she addresses the issue we all have been talking for days now, 'why didn't she contemplate the SR'. She prays thinks and prays again. She spies US in the bathroom and is irritated by him grooming more than a bride. Massi has sent her a gift which is a piece of art, which symbolizes union of man and woman,.. Kanak calls it cheap and packs it back.
Precap- US walks towards her and she backs to the mirror, oil falls down, They slip and land on the bed. Kanak says that I don't love you, US is shocked.
That feeling of being alone in a house full of people, that's the worst feeling, that's what loneliness is. Payal is the most lonely person, a person who does all the chores assigned, she is part of that family, she accepts it... but that feeling of loneliness is eating her, gnawing at her soul. A girl goes to sasural with the husband, for him, they make their own little world.. but Payal got married alone, she walked in alone, she became part of the house alone... that girl is suffering the worst one can imagine.
P.s - did I hear correctly US callig out Kanak "mere nahane ka pani nikala " or was that just me listening too much. -- itna dependent on wife already ?
