90 year old actor makes a comeback

Unbelievable but true!

One of India's oldest actors who has excelled in playing elderly characters from the very beginning of his acting career is getting all set to make a comeback. What is astonishing though that he does that at an age of 90!

We are talking about, as you would have guessed it by now, A K Hangal, whose last notable release was LAGAAN which had released way back in 2001. Though Hangal did appear in films like SHARARAT, PAHELI and MR. PRIME MINISTER, his last memorable role was in LAGAAN.

Now in 2008, he makes a comeback with HUM SEY HAI JAHAAN which has actor, producer and director Mashhoor Amrohi making his debut. A romantic action comedy which also marks the debut of Vishakha Singh as the leading lady, HUM SEY HAI JAHAAN also sees veteran actors like Mac Mohan and Prem Chopra returning to the silver screen as well.

Incidentally A K Hangal plays an interesting character called Mr. Wild West in the film.
