Why was Preity wearing her sunglasses on

A Baisakhi special evening was hosted on NDTV Imagine's 'Dhoom Macha De' and Preity Zinta, who is originally from Himachal and then, Delhi, was invited to be on the show as the guest of honors.

Now, if it's Baisakhi thenm everyone expected Preity to go traditional, but the actress instead decided to keep it casual with denims and Kings XI tee from her Mohali team, and of course her sun glasses which she wore all throughout the show.

Our curiosity lead us to learn the fact that poor Preity was badly hurt on the eye while promoting her team Mohali in one of the events; the crowd went berserk on seeing Preity and her bodyguards had a tough time controlling the fans.

A bodyguard, who was trying to protect Preity, accidentally hit his elbow in Preity's eye in process of ensuring that she was being protected by the tough crowd. The actress was hurt so bad that she ended up having a black eye.

Preity had committed to NDTV that she would be a part of the Baisakhi special show so, she kept her promise and made an appearance for the special nite. The actress was as bubbly and vivacious as ever and we must say that Miss Zinta did manage to 'Macha Dhoom' despite her eye injury. You go Girl!!!
