A multi-starrer is always an organiser's nightmare. Even more so, when members of the cast aren't on talking terms. A fitting example of this was Race, which premiered last night at Imax Wadala. It is learnt that the producers had to arrange for the cast members to sit separately.

Says an onlooker, "Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif didn't even want to be seen in the promotions of the film together. Evidently, the premiere had the makers seeing red. They had to make drastic changes in the seating arrangements just to make the stars comfortable."

"Initially, the cast and crew were to catch the film in the same hall. But when the makers got a hint of this, everything was changed. Bipasha came in minus John (who's shooting in Miami for Dostana) and sat in one hall with co-star Sameera Reddy and Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Katrina Kaif, who came in sans Salman Khan was made to sit in another hall. Kareena too appears to have issues with Bips.

Eventually Saif and Bebo watched the film in a different hall," concludes the source.

Shahid Kapoor came for the premiere as well but didn't sit in the same hall as Bebo. Aamir Khan was the chief guest and showed up pretty late, delaying the screening."
