Trade predicts that the film has bleak chances at the ticket window.
Rohit Shetty's SUNDAY seems to have reaped the benefits of the Republic day during its first weekend. The collections are quite decent in Bombay and Delhi city, as we had predicted in our last column. The Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan and Ayesha Takia starrer may just about pull through to safety, but only in Bombay circuit. Meanwhile last year's TAARE ZAMEEN PAR continues its steady run, though it had a pronounced fall for the first time. TAARE ZAMEEN PAR has done very well in the US, grossing $1,223,869 but has under-performed in the UK with a gross of $675,177. But given the overall collections in the Overseas circuit, TAARE ZAMEEN PAR is a hit there.
