When Manish acted stubborn!
The actor apparently created a Ruckus on the sets of 'Bidaai' when he was asked not to sit on a prohibited swing reports Sapana Patil Poojary
Manish Raisinghani, who plays Saket in 'Sapna Babul Ka —Bidaai' (Star Plus), apparently created a huge ruckus on the sets of the serial after he was pulled up for not adhering to the set's protocol.
A unit member reveals, "There are certain props on the sets, which everyone had been told to keep away from. However, Manish ignored these instructions and sat on one of the swings.
When he was asked by the property in-charge to move away from the prop, Manish felt humiliated and shouted at him for being asked to do so. Hence, the associate director Lalit Sharma had to intervene.
But Manish humiliated him too. This led into a big fight. It got solved only when senior actor Alok Nath-ji intervened and solved the issue."
Lalit admitted to the incident. He informs, "Certain properties are either expensive or delicate. They need to be kept safe and hence the cast and crew have been given orders to keep away from it.
But Manish clearly ignored the instructions and sat on one of the wooden swings. Our concern was that the swing was tied loosely (since it was not being used for shooting then).
Hence Manish could have fallen and hurt himself and also damaged the swing that costs 25000 rupees. In the past too, the swing had broken after someone sat on it."
Lalit adds, "When the property in-charge requested Manish to step down, I heard Manish arguing and shouting. Maybe, Manish felt bad about someone asking him to step down.
So I intervened and tried to make him understand the situation. But he wouldn't listen to me either.
Finally, when Alok-ji heard the commotion, he mediated. As he is a senior, Manish had no choice but to give in."
Manish agrees that he did sit on the prohibited swing but refuses to admit that he was rude to anyone.
He says, "I was sitting on the swing, when a unit member who saw me, informed the property in-charge about it.
The property in-charge, scolded the man for not asking me to get up. I intervened and just told the property in-charge to not shout at him. That's all."
