'I am Me...' - Ridhima Gupta...

The precap and promo of the 23rd Oct Episode had the little scene where Ridzy says..."Main bhi dost hoon"... much as it was adorable and cute... , one couldnt brush away the feeling , that she soooo wanted to be Armaan's friend, and not fight with him, but always ended being so, despite her wish not be so... and she absolutely enjoyed the attention from him...the he showered so generously...!!!

Obvious as it may be that she wants to be his friend, if one had to look at lil deeper, its the feeling of being herself, with him , that she fears , she loses out on, when Armaan aint the usual with her...

Ridzy has always been shown as someone tempermental , especially with Armaan, and I guess beyond the obvious that his pranks irritate the life out of her, she does seem to be her real self with him, no holds barred .. , she lets herself get worked up , plays pranks , shows her irrational temper at him, shouts back at him, cries her heart out to him, when she lost a patient... and lets herself be swept off her feet by the handsome doctor !!! ;-)

If one says , that she enjoys all the love Armaan showers on her , and she goes all red in her face , blushing, and enjoys his company , she jus as much craves to be with him, to be his buddy , for deep down, she wishes to let go and be jus as carefree as Armaan is...

She adores Armaan for the carefree person that he is, one who sees life in a lighter vein and yet , has his sensitivities intact, it undeniable that she adores him for what he is, and the reason, she possibly adores him all the more, without consciously being aware of it herself is that he lets be jus as carefree and help her see life in a lighter vein too...!

Ridzy possibly might never be able to express it out loud , but Armaan sure has realized what Ridzy is all about, and underneath the mask of a prankster, he is jus letting the lil bird trapped inside Ridzy's body free...

If Armaan could be sensitive in realizing that Ridzy was not able to come forth with her feelings when he asked her sensitively.."Tum apni feelings ko bataane se itna darti kyon ho Basket...".... he knew... what he was doing... and so does he now.. when ... he knows, that Ridzy wants to be free and much as he is aware of the fact, that she is her real self with him, he understands he needs to make her realize it too!!

One often hears the phrase... " I am jus me... when I am with him/her" ... I guess... Ridzy is on her way to realizing that she is indeed herself , when she is with Armaan , coz he simply lets her be... or should be we say... he brings out her true self... !

I agree, the character of Ridz is best potrayed whenever she is with Armaan 😳 But which direction is DMG Headed? Friendship yet again? But I think it will be better to take the step of friendship to fall in love... Ridz is already in love with Armaan, but is unable to leash those feelings out to him or other people and I am looking forward to this new track of DMG. If they confess their love, misunderstands will creep up and as Shilpa said, when they confess their love in open, it will be unique, refreshing and warm so am looking forward to it 😳

yes i agree ridz is herself only when she is wiv armaan 😳 ...which proves that there is a certain connection which is wayyy beyond friendship 😳 ...and rids def has falen for armaan...but isnt sure whether its right to carry on those feelings or to hush them inside her...but armaan realises this and im sure one day he will make dem come out of ridz mouth 😳 😳 😳 ...

WOW! Wonderful and beautiful analysis. Cannot add another word to it.
Have seen many successful and hit pairs in movies, tv soaps, etc. but not one pair like Karan+Shilpa's. It's a 21st century fairy-tale. Have not seen even one other love-pair whose chemistry is as palpable and true as theirs!
The other one that comes close to is that of Hrithik+Ash's in Dhoom 2.

This is such a wonderful post and it really brings out the feelings that we see in armaan and ridhima..I mean yes she is truly herself with her yelling at him, getting irritated, getting mad, but also crying and laughing and blushing...He somehow has stuck a chord with her that she just cannot help be herself.. Another thing is that I actually like the fact that they are just "friends" now...I mean think about it, they basically were kind of casual friends and he fell in love with her and she started to have feelings..they were never really that long in the friends stage and I think its only in the friends stage that you truly do get to know a person..Hell if a hot guy like armaan was giving me attention, the last thing i would be is myself u know... SO this friends stage though from armaan's side it has underlying meanings will allow them to know each other better...anyhow i know i went off on a tangent..but all in all- awesome post sarita.. :)

It actually got me thinking in a new direction all together 😉 😆 😆 ...I did realize that Armaan is basically using the whole friendship angle all over again in order to get Ridz to understand what's really in her heart...but I guess I was just really wishing that he'd told her what he felt by now 😳 😳...maybe all those romantic scenes that we were treated to, had built too many expectation in my head 😉 😆 😆...It's just that how can Ridz be so clueless??? 😕 😕...granted she thinks all the initial romantic scenes were "naatak for the bet" but what does she think Armaan was doing when he was a patient??...I just think there's a loose angle there that they haven't tied properly

But no worries!...I'm hoping we head in a positive direction from here 😃...To end on a totally random note: I want Minnie back!!! 😉 😆 😆
