I think without knowing it's Snape's invention, James used it. He mustve seen it being used and liked it... I mean, after all, it's a very James-like thing to do 😉 because if he knew that Snape had invented it, he never would hv used it...

well I too think the same..we know how nosy James was..its no wonder he may have picked up the spell from sumwhere. I think it ws invented by Snape coz in HBP he tells harry that James too used to use his own spell against him...in Snpe's worst memeory, didnt James use Levicorus? I think he was referring to that./..Maybe James didnt know Snape invented it...

Snape was really a brilliant and skilled Wizard n he invented many spells like Sectumsempra n all at school...Dark spells😉
