Episode begins with Sameer making quite a show of his departure by storming through the crowd of guests in the hallway…the entire family flock follows him into the room, and Dadaji makes a formal apology to those present there about how the idea was originally to involve them all in the celebration of a happy occasion, but what it has come to now is far from happy…this family's happiness has been shadowed by one of their own, and he is extremely sorry that the guests had to witness this facet of the Parashars as well…recognizing the note of finality in his words, all the guests leave…
The entire family stands in the hall with their heads hung low, while Aditya paces up and down in the room where the Saumya-Sameer wrestling match took place…Pari and Saumya come back in there, and Saumya puts a comforting arm around Ishana while Pari does her bit by apologizing to Aditya…but Aditya halts her in mid-apology and tells her that it is in fact he who should be apologizing…since it is because of his past that his own sister has had to endure such humiliation in front of her own family…Pari protests, but he insists that it's his fault that she had to suffer so…but this time, Saumya stops him, and says – kabhi apne dil mein aisi baatein mat aane dijiyega Aditya bhaiya…aapka man kitna bada hai, aur aap kitne ache hain, yeh hum jaante hain……and with that, he gives him a nice warm hug, which Aditya reciprocates with full emotions…😳Aditya then embraces Pari and leaves with Ishana in tow, leaving Saumya and Pari looking into each other's eyes…
Back in the drawing room, everyone seems to be standing in a well ordered queue…reminded me of uniform checks in school, honestly…😛all the women in perfectly turned out sarees aligning the front, and the men forming a neat line in the background, in their prim and proper formal attire, while Dadaji paces up and down in front of them, in deep thought…he makes his decision, and proclaims to all of them that he's sure that this is an inside job…since an outsider may well have removed the necklace from Shelly's gift wrappings, but he could not have so regularly and frequently run away with the house's silverware and Nirmala's diamond bangles to boot…therefore he sees only one solution…that here and now, everyone's rooms and bags will be checked…everybody except Pari and Saumya look shocked for some unknown reason…fussing over their non-existent pride and self-respect I suppose…😡Nirmala is the first to protest, asking Dadaji why he doesn't trust them…but Dadaji's pretty firm and says that he trusts them well and good, but this is a time for prudence, not emotional blackmail…and so, the search will commence now, with the first room to be checked being Dadaji's own…
he moves towards his room, and all others do the same, but Nirmala lingers behind and catches hold of Jitisha…and what follows was enough to make even my jaw drop in shock…Nirmala grabs hold of Jitisha's hand, and hands her the missing necklace…!!!!! 😲 Jitisha's as shocked as I am, and demands of her mother just what exactly she's trying to do…but for the first time, you get to see a facet of Nirmala which is a stark contrast from her usual carefree and pretentious airiness…she's got tears and a look of hardened determination in her eyes…😕she tells Jitisha to take the necklace and hide it someplace…Jitisha protests, but Nirmala presses on, telling her to put it in Himesh's bag…anyway, it's just a matter of one night…she'll be gone the next morning…Jitisha says desperately that if Himesh ever got to know that she's taking stuff from her mother in hiding like this, then he'll blow his top…and moreover, when the search of their baggage takes place, Dadaji will surely find the necklace…then what will she do?😕 But Nirmala is not stirred by these words, and just glares at Jitisha in a shut-the-hell-up-and-do-exactly-as-I-say sort of way…and Jitisha does as she is told, as Nirmala struggles to find a way around the impending catastrophe…😕
meanwhile, all the rooms are checked one by one, and finally, the search yields nothing at all…all of them stagger back into the main hall…but just as Pari's coming down the stairs to join them, Nirmala stops her, and with tears in her eyes, tells her to prevent the repetition of the horrible mistake they made inside the other room, of insulting their Damad and humiliating him in front of the whole family…😡she deplores that if Himesh's bags are checked like this, then Jitisha will never be able to face anyone inher in-laws' place…it will be like a permanent scar on her happiness…😡Pari, as we could have easily predicted, falls for the sweet talking and emotional weeping, and tells her not to worry…
Dadaji's standing wondering what to do next when Himesh himself comes up to him and says that since they're the only ones left to be searched, he's got no problem whatsoever with his baggage being checked too…he's about to lead a slightly hesitant Dadaji into his room when Pari gently asks Dadji for two minutes…he goes with her out of everyone's earshot, and she tells him not to check Himesh's bags, since it'll be extremely humiliating for Jitisha…and apparently, Dadaji's been thinking the exact same thing, and immediately agrees, saying that they must not repeat the horrible mistake of humiliating their son-in-law in front of everybody…😕and so he turns to Himesh and tells him that they're not going to check his luggage after all, since he's their Damad, and they cannot dream of trodding on his self-respect…Himesh looks gratified, while both Jitisha and Nirmala, who had just a moment ago been on the verge of tearing out their hair, look immensely relieved…🤢
Vijay and Shelly, however have a problem with it, and wonder aloud how on earth they expect to nab the thief like this…but Dadaji decisively says that he's sure that they'll uncover the truth behind all this soon enough…and this time, the thief will not be able to find a way out…hope he's got some sort of plan worked out…
At night, when everyone's gone to bed, Saumya settles down on one of the chairs in the main hall, and takes off his coat…he sits there with a morose expression on his face, thinking over and over again about his showdown with Pari the other day…and the more he thinks about it, the more guilt wells up in his eyes…he says to himself that he should not have behaved with Pari as he did…he should have stood beside her in all this…she's going through hell as it is, and this can't make her feel any better…after all, she's working so hard only for Dadaji and this family's happiness…and no matter how much crap is hurled at her from every corner, she never budges an inch from her stand, and suffers everything silently…he should give her his support…and even if he doesn't agree with her, he should at least not be angry with her, and leave her stranded in the middle of nowhere…😳he takes his head in his hands, and just then Abhay comes and places a hand on his shoulder…he sits beside him and says – Pari ke bare main soch rahe ho na? Saumya just looks at him, and Abhay tells him that he knows that Saumya is worried about how Pari is dealing with all the crap going on in this house, all by herself…he says - but beta, Pari's not a weak woman…she knows how to stand her ground, and no matter how much wrong people say or do to her, she will never let go of her righteousness and her principles…but Saumya, remember one thing – regardless of who's with her and who's against her, you must never leave her side…if she has you beside her, then nothing can stop her from attaining her goal…for love is her biggest strength, and right now the one person she needs more than anything in the world is you…😳stand by her Saumya, and give her strength to hold on…if she falters, support her with your strong arms and your limitless love……with that, Abhay takes his leave, and Saumya sits there with a look of determination in his eyes…😃
Dadaji's in his room, when Pari comes up to him…he's a little surprised to see her awake till now…but she's in tears, and hands him back the keys he had given her, saying that she cannot bring herself to bear their burden any longer…and for the first time, she looks broken…she weeps and deplores that she's been making mistakes since day one, over and over again…she hasn't been able to prove herself worthy of the responsibility entrusted to her by Dadaji, and therefore thinks that the only alternative left for her is to gracefully hand back the keys…she says that she's very sorry that she's leaving this Yagya midway, but she has no other choice…she's lost the battle…😭once she's done, Dadaji looks at her, smiles, and says that she cannot give up like this…he hands her back the keys despite her protests and says that she now needs to understand that along with her long standing morals and principles, she also nees the support of a certain amount of sharpness…she needs to be street-smart now…till date, she has struggled her way through this Yagya as Ram…but now, it's time for her to change her form to that of Krishna…😊she has always taken help and guidance form the Ramayana, but it is now time to turn towards the Gita, and take inspiration form the lessons given by Krishna to Arjun…this is a Yagya no more…it is a Yudh now, a war…and in this Mahabharata that is raging in Parashar house, Pari must now play the role and use the strategy of lord Krishna…he gives her a long winded and extremely inspiring speech on how both Ram and Krishna fought for truth, and struggled against the various demons who stood in their way, constantly carrying out their deeds and duties without worrying about the fruit they would get in return…👏and that is what she must do now…the episode ends with Pari's expression, which is now filled with a new glow of strength and resolve…😊
Okay…after a long string of extremely depressing sequences, the episode aired today brought with it a distinct tone of positivity…😃Pari and Saumya have both emerged with heightened resolve to do what they must…😃Pari seems inspired by Dadaji's words, and if Saumya acts on his decision to stand by Pari, then i don't see any reason why she should falter…😳😃also, I couldn't believe my eyes when Nirmala handed Jitisha the necklace…😕is she the one who's been nicking the rest of the stuff too?? 😕Really confusing, this…anyway, let's see what tomorrow has in store…!😃
