hey everyone...I listened to Amit's old interview on India -Forums and he gave out his email address and so I mailed him this
Hi Amit, this is Meera from Canada, I recently heard your interview on IF, even though you gave it a really long time ago, and I just wanted to say that since I've only seen you in Kyunki, because of your character Manthan, you came across as as really snobby person, but now that I heard your interview and read a little more background into you, I realize that I have so much in common with you, the whole fact of you being so much more indian than your friends in the U.S., I feel that in Canada too, and I really wanna go back to India to become a storywriter for either serials or movies....please do reply me back, it'll definitely strengthen the fact that you are a very nice human being!! I also want to congratulate you on getting married!

Hey there and thanks for the e-mail.
Its true that sometimes when ppl watch us on tv that they assume we are exactly like the characters we play, but that is precisely what acting is all about. On my previous show i played a character more kind a sweet as compared to a manthan I can understand where u may have thought that. Am glad you think differently of me now :)
Anyhow good luck with all your ventures and if its your dream to come here and get into this field then give it your all and don't up and it will happen...If you think big, then only can you achieve big.
