But the goings-in the entertainment business keep re-defining our parameters of incredulity. As if the announcement that Spiderman 3 is being dubbed into Bhojpuri wasn't enough to make the weak-hearted faint, hear this. Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishen currently busy playing Gabbar Singh in the Bhojpuri interpretation of Sholay, is dubbing for Spiderman. You heard right. Toby Maguire will speak Bhojpuri in Ravi Kishen's voice! You pinch yourself hard to wake up. But Ravi corrects you. "No, this isn't a nightmare. I'm dubbing for Spiderman in Bhojpuri. I'm taking out a full seven days from my busy schedule to get the dubbing right. I've never dubbed for any other actor except myself. And I've to get this right," he says. The last comic-book film from Hollywood to be dubbed in India by a star was The Incredibles where Shah Rukh Khan lent his voice to the main character. Toby Maguire in Spiderman Ravi is definitely very proud of following SRK's footsteps. He chuckles, "Well they don't call me the Shah Rukh of Bhojpuri cinema for nothing. I'm doing this because I wanted my Bhojpuri fans to enjoy Spiderman in the voice that they love…mine! Wait till they hear me saying, 'Hum makad manav hayi. Ud kar aayab aur tohar tetuwa dabaa deb' (I'm spiderman. I'll fly to you and throttle you)." Incidentally, Shah Rukh's son Aryan had dubbed along with papa dearest in The Incredibles. " Spiderman in Bhojpuri is my gift to my son as well as all the kids who' d be celebrating summer holidays. This is for them. Wait till they hear Ravi Uncle as Spiderman," says Ravi.
