Salman khan talks about fake awards in 90s - Page 2

It is astonishing how many awards had been given in shows done by magazines or TV channels, most of these award shows don't exist anymore.

Sometimes awards had been invented that existed only a few years (with very fancy names) by other business people.

I found (still find) that quite ridiculous.

The only Hindi filmindustry award that - I think - had a certain cinematic value, had been the Apsara Awards (from the Producers Guild) which don't exist anymore.

But there had been alone 3 magazine awards (Filmfare, Screen and Stardust) and more than six TV media awards (Zee is the only one that remained).

So, I fully can comprehend if there are actors that just snub (snubbed) them.

Salman was mainly talking on the one award show run by jitesh. He was supposed to win best actor and was told in advance but instead he got supporting so he did win but not the category he was supposed to. The other award shows he’s won but he never goes to recurve them once he made up his mind. Yes he hosts and attends and entertains because he’s getting money 💰. His point was why they bothered to tell him he’s getting this award ( a ploy to attend) and then give him some other instead. The credibility is lost since they telling who’s getting what. So I don’t even understand the outage these days unless they only tell the winner only and let others think they might win.

And am not complaining about him attending or performing,I just mentioned how actors have chosen different ways to react to award shows..some have completely dismissed it while some just attend and go.

 I still think they nonsense but some like getting them still and Kiara likes it and she’s a newcomer so it’s ok. It just when older ones who been around want them knowing they bogus smh
