I think we should keep our expectations veryyyy low. A lot already hasn’t happened to make a Zaid MJ endgame earned.

Zaid hasn’t even found out about MJ’s mental health struggles lol. Her coming clean about the Rayyan situation and her role in getting Ayra fired is a long shot. She’s already scared of his reaction to everything. If they wanted to show her empathy and growth and some real self reflection they would have done it.

It’s sad but they really just made it all about her divorce for her. That’s it. She wasn’t okay with separation before but now she will be. Took her 32 episodes to get to this point lol. I wish we had seen some real growth in her outside of her relationship with Zaid but even in this relationship she’s seemed insincere in the last few episodes. So idk if we can expect anything.

Logically they should all go their separate ways. But knowing ptv they’ll force one couple in the last episode and moneys on Zaid MJ. I have full faith in Ayra to walk away from this hell and a husband who can’t even take a proper stand for her.

I do think Zaid will make a proper apology to MJ - I think at least that much we can count on. I’m not expecting anything from her though. I think for her this win will be enough that he’s not signing the papers 👏 She will be ready to walk away but eventually she won’t 🤦🏻‍♀️

One thing that is consistent about all characters is the fact that no one loves the other truly.They love themselves the most.MJ doesn't truly love Zaid.If she did,she would have told Zaid the truth seeing him in turmoil and supported him by helping him instead of doing lip-service.She was selfish and only cared about her marriage falling apart.Zaid doesn't truly love Ayra.He does everything for her out of guilt and simply because they are the right things to do.Ayra also cannot keep her baggage aside for Zaid.So,"Mein" is justified in that sense.

In the era of Animal and Kabir Singh , heroes far worse than Zaid have got the heroine. At least he isn’t slapping his wives around and never forced himself on anyone like many other typical Pakistani male leads.

I’ll also add to this that none of the pairings are actually compatible in the real sense. And at the same time both pairings have potential to be happy under only “certain” circumstances.

Zaid/Ayra can be happy if so and so hadn’t happened. And Zaid/MJ can also be happy if so and so happens. It’s really a matter of ifs here and how certain circumstances favor one pairing over the other 👍 It’s not a love story after all but more about who’s picking what in a situation and the driving force for that is not always pure love

If Zaid doesn’t divorce MJ, I just want to see the reason or his explanation. It’s what he always wanted right ? Zaid’s ’mein’ has been Ayra in this entire show and moving on from her would be ending his mein.

True but Zaid was problematic towards MJ in my opinion. He has his own personal weaknesses too. Always struggling to assert himself especially in front of Asif. It was a different than your typical flawed male lead who are usually aggressive.

It’s Zaid’s own inherent weakness as a man that has him lashing out and emotionally abusing MJ instead of taking it out at his father. It’s the sign of a weak man looking for a weaker punching bag to hit. Poor MJ with her marriage insecurities was the weaker one here so Zaid used that against her.

I have a theory that MJ was just too interesting and Zanjabeel focused on her - the bad girl. And Zaid - the bad boy - was a bit boring for her to dwell much on. Otherwise I feel that even though Zaid IS a bad boy it didn’t come across as clearly for people. I really was shocked during the first half of the drama when his actions were labelled as he’s being so strong for Ayra, taking a stand for Ayra. No man. This dude was all about his Mein. And he was hurting a real person as a result of that - MJ was his collateral damage.

It makes perfect poetic justice for him to end up with MJ at the end lol. It’s actually quite fitting 😂

Another thing I would like to say is that MJ doing the right thing in the Rayyan incident wouldn't have been out of character for her.She was shown to be staying with Zaid and caring for him when he was sick not bothering about the fact that she could fall sick in that process.For someone like her who only looks out for herself in every situation that was a huge thing.I am sure she would not have done it for Mohib and been like-You take care of yourself.Do you want me to fall sick or what?

But the makers just destroyed all that progress with the last 2 episodes.

his apology better be good because poor MJ literally asks the barest minimum from him and showers him with affection regardless. She deserves a proper apology. Zaid’s mistreatment of her is actually what’s made her sympathetic in my eyes - because it was so extreme of him. So he better be extremely apologetic and embarrassed.

And he’s damn lucky MJ expects so less from him because he does tend to disappoint a lot. But luckily for MJ he will be good enough 👍

Tell me about it. Ayeza would have ate such a scene up and left no crumbs. And instead of her fighting alongside Zaid for what’s right, you have her crying in the corner worried for her own future 🤦🏻‍♀️

Like… we aren’t asking for much here as the audience but they really are starving us for NO reason
