I think Salam Namaste is still his best movie by far. It's one of the better rom-coms of that era. Still has repeat value.

I loved Bachna Ae Haseeno Too.

Bang Bang, Pathan, and War are just average movies, with special effects being the only cinematic value they bring to the tabe. Masala flicks, yes, but his first movie had soul, humour, romance, and was very sweet.

"Salaam Namaste" and "Bachna Ae Haseeno" have a unique charm that resonates with audiences on a different level, focusing not just on spectacle but also on the emotional core of the stories.

Ironically, the not-so-well-made movies generated loads of revenue and the ones I liked didn't.

Which is your favourite movie of his?

I agree, Minty...again the debut movie of a director to turn out to be my favourite of his movies.

Nevertheless, War will have a special place because of the homoerotic 'chemistry' between Hrithik and Tiger and Pathaan because of his love for ShahRukh (his work and thinking).

Pathan. Even though its just an average one. Bang bang is the weakest one. I don’t remember Salaam namaste at all. So i am not considering it. Other movies are good in only in parts.

Salaam Namaste is his best overall followed by War. TRRP was meh.

BEH was half decent but Anjaana Anjaani was trash.

Bang Bang and Pathaan were weak although Pathaan did have a surprisingly based villain in Jim.

I prefer anjaana anjaani

Salaam namaste is one of my favourites too

Bah was good but find Ranbir’s character annoying after watching a few times

I liked War as well

pathaan I liked for SRK Deepika John some nice action but the story was not great
