I loved Daawat-E-Ishq. If I'm correct, the movie wasn't a huge hit but it did make its money back so it wasn't an outright flop either. Between Piki or DEI, I would watch DEI anyday and I enjoyed Piku very much. But DEI had a great message and wonderful songs and Pari at her most charming.

First time I’m hearing about RRR. Was it Alia’s role? The role did nothing for Alia, other than make her delete her RRR Instagram posts and unfollow Rajmouli 🤷🏽‍♀️ (relax, she’s followed him back).

I don’t believe she rejected Sultan. I think she wanted Sultan and her PR put the rumors out there. She did a full athletic photoshoot. Followed Ali Abbas Zafar on social media. But ultimately she wasn’t picked.

She rejected Piku because she was promised a Dharma movie with Ranbir and Saif Ali Khan which never happened. I think Udta Punjab was lost due to similar reasons. Promise if a better movie that never materialized.

She claimed that she rejected Animal for Imtiaz Ali’s movie which is biography of Chamkila and his wife. Vanga now claims that he rejected her. Maybe she was saving face with her claim or maybe Vanga got pissed that a woman rejected his movie and decided to lie. Either way something tells me she has no regrets there. Might even be grateful for it now. I can only imagine the controversy and hullabaloo for a high ranking politician’s wife being part of Animal.

I wonder if Parineeti has ever been up for a movie with SRK. Or is the Priyanka connection something that would make SRK dismiss Pari?

udta punjab and piku were great roles.

I know about piku and animal but did not hear about her rejecting the other movies.i doubt she would reject Sultan,RRR

She is talented but her script sense has always been really bad. Rejected good movies for crapfests like kill dill, dawat e ishq and namaste england

Was she genuinely offered all these roles? Well I am glad she didn't do animal due to the misogyny

I thought I was the only one who enjoyed D-e-I. It is such a silly movie , but Parineeti & ARK somehow made it likable for me.

Parineeti and Anupam’s kaiku chicha hydrabadi accent is one reason that I like this movie. They were hilarious as Papa - Beti. And ARK - Pari made it likable. It’s an easy breezy watch.
